Has not been a lot of news the past week, but I think he is close. Maybe he will make it back for the Flyers game this weekend.

The last word from last week was that the doctors cleared him to play when the pain and swelling subsided.

And Bad Luck is the only luck we know...

Couldn't help but notice how similarly the Detroit game and the Anaheim game played out.

- Score early goal.
- Give up equalizer a short time later.
- Answer with a Johansen goal.
- Take a two-goal lead in the second, on a d-man slapshot from the left point.

New prototype for victory???

Just noticed that Arniel really shortened that bench again. 4 forwards under 10 minutes and Russell. AJ barely had 10 minutes.

I knew Moore was out there a lot, but didn't realize he was out there for 23 minutes.

yeah, the bench shortening in the 2nd pd is starting to really perplex me...I don't get it...

It's called Aaron Johnson and Kris Russell are playing so poorly he feels he has no choice. As for the Brassard benching, he hasn't shown much this year and I really have no problem with it. He's missed on a few doorstep opportunities that should have been goals against Detroit and Chicago and always seems to be falling down on plays. John Moore has outplayed Johnson and Russell, once Methot is back I feel Johnson will be in Springfield and Moore might take Russell's spot when Martinek is healthy.

Really says alot about our defensive depth. Youngsters like Moore and Clitsome have to play almost 25 minutes just to keep Russell and Johnson on the bench.
