True. And confirmed by LeBrun:

In the event a team claimed Avery on re-entry waivers, New Team would owe him 25 % of his salary, Rangers 25 % percent, and Stars still 50 %

Who cares about damn avery. He is a disgrace to hockey, has very, very minimal skills, and can blow at any given second. He will hopefully never wear another NHL jersey ever again! Good riddance!

Minimal skills? That's just not true. His main problem is his size. If he were 2 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier, he'd be a hell of a player. As he is, he gets muscled off the puck too easy. But lack of skill? Not really.

If Bowman even speaks to him, I will be so mad! We already have Carcillo, no reason for this ****.

I've watched him play many. And he is not talented enough to keep him in the NHL given his antics. He kind of reminds me of you, resorting to calling someone a 'fool' because they don't agree with you.

I'm sure brodeur, simmonds, brett hull, phaneuf, etc etc would agree with me.

Why do you think nobody is picking him up of waivers and would only have to pay 25% of his pay. Lol

Because of his antics yes.

But his talent level is that of a 3rd liner.

You act like he has no skill and is some sort of goon like Trevor Gillies.
Just to note while on the Rangers he has done nothing out of line.

So glad this badass is back.

Would love to see him with the Pens but anywhere in the NHL works for me.

Just wanted to remind everyone to keep this thread clean. Avery seems to bring out the worst in some, and whether it's legitimate or not, it does not belong in this thread.

Thank you.

Cant wait to see him back on NHL ice. This new boring era of nhl hockey needs some personality.

At that price I'd claim him and move out a guy like Gionta.
