Its not that bad...you got him for nothing...

Alexandre Gauthier and the 6th are a wash...so it works out to...

Storm Phaneuf and Kolestnikov...for a guy who a) you got for free and b) wasnt going to play for you...

When making a deal you need leverage....and with KK not going to Boisbriand, the Armada had no leverage to make a deal...

Well he did sign with the team in the SEL...

You got a stay at home d and Phaneuf, a 16 year old goalie who has good size and quickness....is raw and has good potential...

Kk, I'm a little surprised, it obviously has to do with the caliber of the team, unless ge really thinks Shawi as a whole is better the BLB in terms of things to do.

In my west island opinion they're both ****holes however there's wrost places to live.

Where does Phaneuf play AAA ? And he's the heir to Marcouxs throne which all but confirms Marcoux is gone.....

How old is the stay at home D we got ?

And did we get Kolesnikov in the deal or not ?

Phaneuf played AAA last year for Gatineau but now he is at some prep school in Quebec...forget which one...

And yes you did get Kolesnikov...and hes 19...he is big and he actually has 10 pts in 13 games...so maybe he isnt a prototypical stay at home d...heard is isnt the best skater, but hes 6'06 220

I thought it was a horrible deal because at first reporters made a mistake and said we had given up Sebastien Gauthier in the deal. Not Alexandre. There's a huge difference between the two.

From what I know Phaneuf is a pretty good young goaltender and he will be backing up Marcoux next year. Could also be used as a trade chip eventually.

As for Kolesnikovs he's pretty good, but he'll only be useful this season as he'll be a 20 years old player next year and I doubt they plan on having a 20 years old euro on the team.

Phaneuf playing in Prep isn't great..... Should of returned to AAA or played MJ.

As for Gormley going to Shawinigan , at what price will it cost them ?? Do you think something like this is reasonable enough to make it work ??

To Shawinigan : Brandon Gormley (19)

To Moncton : Justin Hache (16)
2013 1st round pick
2014 2nd round pick
*Alex Dubeau (17)at the draft in exchange for 1 of those picks back ??

Last night's game between Shawinian and Quebec had to be any Lewiston fan's dream.

Shawi won 4-3 on four goals by MAINEiacs of last year. Pierre-Olivier Morin opened the scoring for the Cataractes as tied the game at 1 late in the first. Kirill Kabanov struck twice in the third to tie the game, from Michael Chaput both times. Chaput then added the game winner.

Kabanov now has 3 G, 2 A in 4 games. Has anybody seen him play? How does he look?

He could be the best player in the league but his efforts aren't always there.

Dubeau worth is higher than what you indicate there

He's a beast. Zlobin - Chaput and him are a perfect match on the ice. Really impressed with that i have seen so far.

It's being bandied around Twitter that he might be back for Wednesday's game.
