This would be so much easier if the Pens just moved to KC...

Won't work because Sprint Center already has luxury suite reserved for Charles Wang.

my beef is there would be 7 teams in 2 divisions and 8 in the other 2 .

prefer the divisions to all have equal number of teams , therefore I hope any re-adjustment keeps 5 teams per division .

just put nashville into the southeast and winnipeg into the midwest and call it a day .

I would like the change, something relatively simple would be to add a extra "rival" game for an extra game outside the division. It would help some teams like the Pens and do nothing either way for us if we play say the Panthers or Tampa an extra game

My issue with the current alignment is that you're in divisions and play more against your division, yet essentially compete for playoff spots against the entire conference. If you're going to play more against your division, you should have divisional playoffs (you play the teams more often that you're competing with for a spot). If you're going to keep our current playoff format, they should scrap the divisions and go to two conferences.

See? Billy Idol gets it!

This is exactly why we need 4 divisions again.

And Detroit and Boston can fight to play whoever beats Philly, Washington and NJD.

Take out the Oilers and put in Columbus and you have a deal
