Kopitar To CBJ

Vermette and our 2nd for Kopitar.

I dont think that LA would give up Kopitar for Vermette and a 2nd.. That would be great, but I cant see it happenning, however, with the whole "failfornail" possibility, I think that if we offered them the first that could turn into Nail, they would take it.. With how the Jackets raise prospects, I think it would be better to take a proven player (Kopitar) than hope that Nail becomes great.

People forget we are a cap team now and can't afford a 1st straight up for Kopitar.

so you'd want to sub Kopitar out and replace him with Doughty?

As a Defensemen, I like what he does, but i dont know if his ego is too big for his talent.

me personally wants to sub Kopitar for JJ and Bernier...

Id be afraid to give up all of that for a slightly above average defensemen and an proven back up goalie, but unproven starter. bernier seems good, but he's never had to feel the weight of an entire franchise on his shoulders.

And when you wake up you will see we do not have trade a player for Kopitar and than it is better to develop Johansen.

I never said we shouldnt develop johansen, He's currently one of my 3 favorite players on CBJ's roster. right behind Dexshow, and right in front Boone Jenner. Aside from that, Im not saying that the jackets would be able to get Kopitar at all. We do need a quick fix however, and that may be in the form of Carter when he returns.
