God is Tortorella ever funny when he's pissed off

His Thornton comments kill me.

Wow.. In the Caps vs. Ducks game. Ducks were leading 4-3 with 90 seconds left in the game, Boudreau calls a time-out and decides to keep Ovechkin on the bench for the next play.

After viewing the Bruins-Senators game I can foresee a senatorial collapse. Press them and they yield teritory and make bad clearing passes. They will change places with the Bruins by the end of November and by that I don't mean that they will win a championship.

Nah, they just aren't tough enough. Maybe they can claim Gillies off waivers?

I'm pretty sure most on here would have bet big money Ottawa wasn't for real even when they were tops in the division last week...simply too few fronline players and too many holes. I still see them as a lottery team.

They didn't play that bad last night, I think they will give us a hard time personally on Friday. I agree that they will soon fall back and be were they belong in the standings but they are playing good hockey and have a hell of a young lineup will plenty to get excited for the next couple of years thinking they even sent Ziba back to Sweden. If they can pick in the top 2, they will be like the Oilers with a much better defense in a few years

The one that gave out suspensions like candy during training camp.

Apparently Wolski didn't intentionally hit Alfie. According to Wolski, it was a clean hit.

On the other hand, here's what Shanny has to say about the 5 game suspension.

I have a hard time understanding how Wolski does not make the head of Alfie the clear target. Alfie is nowhere near the puck, he is looking back to where he passed it, and because he's in Wolski's path, he gets a clear and intentional elbow to the head.

Back to senseless disciplinary actions I see.

the way I see it.
Wolski's hit wasn't directly to the head (shoulder/elbow). It looked like a "full" body contact

as for Sutton. the first target was the head as for Wolski, I think it hit the chest.
thats my explanation

IMHO, Wolski deserves an suspension for his useless hit.

If you want to give someone a concussion, make sure to hit them away from the play is what I'm getting from these suspensions so far.

I was actually a little pissed about the fighting part. The Sens played a good first couple of minutes, the Bruins had nothing going, Sens scored and then right away the fight between Thornton and Konopka gave the Bruins momentum and woke up that pathetic crowd. Even the play by play guy said why would you do that and wake up the Bruins. Lucic scored right after. Yes the Sens took another lead but that fight seemed to have sparked the Bruins, it's simple really play you game against boston and let them fight each other, they aren't that good of a team when you play your system and don't play into theirs

You see, this is what a i say about having a fighter on your team. It does give the team a boost. But Thornton got popped a few times and Campbell, well i was happy to see him get clobbered.

Brodeur sucks against everyone else though. Last year he was garbage all year and got multiple shutouts against us.

Those were perfect shots by JVR and Hartnell. He robbed Jagr should be 4-0
