If people are mad that Torts didn't forcibly inject Avery into a lineup that played fantastic hockey against one of the better WC teams, i'm going to flip.

Anyway, LGR! We can win this.

Nope, no reason to put Avery in for this game.

The team was really playing a team game against SJ. No reason to mess with that.

And, regardless of what anybody says, Hiller had a poor outing last game. I wouldn't expect him to repeat it.

Ducks coming off a deflating loss against Washington, Rangers coming off a crushing victory against one of the NHL's hottest teams.

A perfect recipe for success.....

.......everywhere else.

LGR. And I love that comment from Avery about being scratched.

Best performance of the year against the Sharks. I'm going to be pissed if we don't see a repeat effort.

best 50$ you can spend to learn. Tutoring works, as does youtube, but step by step integration and such is such a wonder. Student discount is 50, reg is 150 i think.

Why change a winning team? They was very good with current lineup against the sharks.
Someone have to play there way out of the team first IMO

Anyway

How come we play the Ducks twice this season? I thought we only played WC teams from two divisions once every season.

We always play a few WC teams twice.

We played St. Louis, Colorado and Chicago twice last year, maybe the Ducks too.

Seriously, what do some of you people want from Sean Avery?

The guy went out of his way to back up the same coach who threw him under the bus only a month ago, and still gets mocked. I don't get it.

Also, is it ******* of me that I want Fowler to have as horrible a game possible just so I don't have to hear about him every single time McIlrath is mentioned in a thread here?

I think it is like this:

Division Rivals (4 teams) played 6 times = 24 games
Conference Rivals (10 teams) played 4 times = 40 games
Western Conference teams (15 teams) play one time each = 15 games
TOTAL = 79 games
To reach the 82 game schedule we wind up playing 3 Western Conference games twice
This year that means: Anaheim, Phoenix and The Blackhawks twice from The West

Excited for this game, excited for my first GDT. Selanne has looked ridiculous these last few games, worried about him tonight. If we go down early the crowd will most likely start the 'we want avery' chants again. One positive to take out of a good Hiller performance is that at least the Movember helmet will get lots of camera time.

If they play like they did against the sharks, they are a very difficult team to beat. If they do not come out strong, this could be a major letdown
