DiPietro in goal again? I would say it is Monty time, Dip was ok but not outstanding v. Sharks, played too far back in his net on two goals.
We need this win. It would mean 4 points out of the last possible 6, get us back on track. A loss here would be real bad.

A game? What's that? Hopefully Montoya gets the start this time around. If I was Capuano I'd sit down with DP and tell him everytime he makes a bad turnover with the puck that results in a goal he loses a start that he would've had. That'll keep him in the net more.

would like to think that this is a winable game. lets hope they dont come out flat. not sure wed want to spot these guys a goal or 2 lead before we start playing.

We sucked against the Thrash last season, so I dont have a lot of hope.

Winnipeg fans think we are an automatic win for them as well!!! We can't call any team an automatic win, with the state our franchise is in... Winnable game, tonight, yes for us... But it will not surprise me at all if we lose or even get "pollaxed."

However we WILL NOT win Saturday as the Caps could spot us a 4-0 lead and still beat us 8-4...

Not exactly a tough prediction considering he's pretty much done that every game so far.

Here's my prediction for tonight.... Josh Bailey will have a solid game and register his first point of the season.

I'm a Jet STH and rest assured that any Winnipeg fans who think this will be an "easy win" are deluding themselves. We are a young team with loads of potential but losing Engstrom for a couple weeks is going hurt... no doubt.

Can't see a blowout by either team tonight so I'm hoping for a tight game.

Being back in the NHL is awesome...... they said it would never happen.. yet here we are.

I will be there tonight. The Islanders haven't lost a game I've attended this year when they have scored a goal. Unfortunately I am 1-2 this year. So lets make sure to get out there and score.

"Broken" officially in net tonight via NYIslanders twitter!!! To expect different would be out of the norm for our Islanders!!!

Now officially a 5-3 loss "Broken" allows 4 goals on 20 shots allowing fat rebounds and "straying from net turnovers." YAY!!!

Screw DP in net, get Montoya out there. We win games with him in net, it's not that hard to understand.

And our schedule sucks. The team needs to play more games, not two 5 day breaks in a matter of three weeks.

This game will go either way. From the way I understand it, you guys are less confident with DiPietro in net, and we're way less confident with 2 AHLers (Flood and Festerling), 1 fringe NHLer (Jones) and only three NHL regulars (Bogosian, Byfuglien and Oduya) on the blueline.
