From the trades board:
Quote:
Tampa GM Steve Yzerman isn’t ready to push the panic button, but he does have concerns about the play of veteran G Dwayne Roloson. The Lightning could look to bolster its netminding before the trade deadline. Tampa tried to acquire G Jonathan Bernier at the draft in June and there is talk the Kings may move him at some point.

First time I hear/read about that rumor. Is Garrioch just making things up?

Fasth just signed a 2-year contract that ends after the 2012-13 season. Can he get out of the last year? He's not like Kocheschkin in that he's only 5-11 and 180 lbs..... a little on the small side. Same weight but 2 inches shorter than Roloson.

I'd love to bring Koschekin over next year. Him and Garon could be a nice tandem. Plenty of helmet kittens too!

He missed camp due to injury. If he's still playing like this in November and December I'll begin to worry.

Yes he can leave if he gets a NHL offer.

Do we still think Tokarski is the goalie of the future? I have me doubts.

Just found out that Riku has 3 consecutive shut outs. Looks like hes turning things around over there in Finland.

Well, only two years until Mike Smith hits free agency again.

Smith seems like hes doing pretty well for the Yotes. Good for him.

We had two shootouts. Both of them were thrown off by attempts to pokecheck.

Espo joked on the POWER PLAY this Thursday that " no disrespect to Roloson/Garon" that if Buffalo was tired if Ryan Miller he'd love him on the Bolts!

2 of which were games in which the Coyotes were leading in the final minute but Smith let in the tying goal to send it OT/SO where they lost.

Where have I heard that before?

Nabokov might be an option down the road. He's DTD with a lower body injury right now but they also have Montoya and DiPietro on their current roster. All three of them have had surprisingly good numbers so far.

I want absolutely nothing to do with Nabokov. His crappy attitude and frankly Im not so sure hes an upgrade to anything we have currently.

No thanks.

I really wouldn't want to make a move for less than a Schneider/Bernier type of guy. A younger guy that would give us some long term stability in net.

Interestingly... I know they are a rival, but say we can get Holtby/Neuvirth from Caps at a reasonable price (impossible, just hypothesizing). That would be nice.

Neuvirth. I think the kid is a beast. Caps fans are on the fence about him, but hes good enough and thats what matters.

Nothing is going to change this season unless there is a serious injury. Signing hedman long term is #1 priority, then upgrading the D, then Goalie
