Its still a long shot for the wild to end up in the top 8 this year. Lets let him work through some of his growing pains this year. If we make the playoffs its pretty much guaranteed that he will have helped the wild get there in a big way.
Exactly. Thank you.

Is it just me, or is this thread starting to turn out as a new 2011-2012 Minnesota Wild thread?

Not only that, he's rushed the puck into the offensive zone occasionally.

The beauty part of this is, a. The wild have better players this season, and b. we have Yeo at the helm. This guy is flat out a good coach. If you care to add c. The Wild pipeline is full of high end propsects, and, well, you have a reason to be optimistic about the future of a Minnesota pro sorts team that isn't the Lynx.

Still very early, but still these games count just as much as the games do later in the season, dominating performance last night, we need to play like that more often. I know Vanny didn't play well, but we also created chance after chance after chance last night. I can't wait to see this team in a couple of years.

If we make the playoffs I'll be ecstatic! I just hope we can keep playing like this. Us making it in an Vanny missing would make my life

According to @mnwild, this is the first time we've been in 4th since before Richards (December '08, specifically).

Being 4th is awesome.. but I still can't fully enjoy it with the Eddy Oilees not only being in the race, but ahead of us. Won't be fully satisfied until the season is over, we are in and Eddy, Vanny, Coloradoee and Calgary-ee are out.

Callie!

Also, Edmonton's not just ahead of us... they're leading the Western Conference. WTF.
