Whomever brought it up before was right. TSN must have turned into The Stars Network or something, because they always show Stars games. Why do they do this? It makes as much sense as them showing a Boston game in San Jose.

I agree they've shown them more than any other team to start the season...but that's just scheduling. There are only going to be 5 more Dallas Stars games on TSN for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately TSN has to show teams like the Stars. They are limited to the Canadian games they can show because of CBC and local tv contracts.

I'm going to go out on a limb, now this IS a longshot, but maybe because TSN is a Canadian sports network (well formally anyways) and Calgary, as far as 2 seconds ago, was a Canadian city.

But wait, Pierre Maguire is a homer *sarcasm*... but if he's broadcasting a whole bunch of Stars games, wouldn't that make him a Stars homer? [See Stars/Flames GDT thread for reference.]

Doesn't ESPN have something to do with TSN? Sportscentre on both networks are the same.

And why is it that Pierre always points out what went wrong on a goal? Why not point out what the team that scored did right? Like Conroy's pass to Iggy, ****ing great pass but he's going off about the Stars and how they gave up an odd man rush when the faceoff was in the attacking zone.

I honestly thought TSN showed a lot of Ducks games during the end of the year.
