There are no Easy points in the NHL anymore. Also I am pretty quick to defend the Team and Terry.
But tonight was zero effort, that can't happen when you have a team as skilled as the Kings are now.
Just like there is no excuse for how the Redwings are playing right now.
Both teams need a shakeup.
I wouldn't classify that as zero effort, the problem was the Kings couldn't adjust to how EDM was playing, they were lost out there, running into each other.
I also want to add that Brownie needs to show some emotion.
Unfortunately, TM nor DB are emotional people. They're both somewhat passive.
Also, I believe I read somewhere, TM believes that the team will feed off the coach, ie, coach gets angry about the play, the team plays angry, etc, there is a fine line between playing smart and playing with passion, you have to have the perfect balance of both, and right now, I don't think the Kings are playing with passion, at all.
Terrible terrible game. We looked asleep. Quick got **** bounces on him. I felt so bad for him the first two. We had no jump and seemed to not care. At least we play hard on the road. I can't think of one player who had a good game. Maybe Richardson?

TM's full of it. TM just making excuses because he's not an emotional guy. A leader needs to show emotion from time to time.
Also, as I have mentioned on the GDT, I think some of the players may have given up on TM.
Games like these makes me appreciate the long layoffs the Kings have in their schedule. Terry Murray and the Kings can talk about "shot mentality" and "need to improve at even strength" but all that talk is pointless if you fail to execute.
They couldn't even connect with passes tonight. How are they going to expect to do anything when they can't connect with a tape to tape pass?
Didn't say he was right, said that is what he believed, and he isn't the only coach that believes that,
And I doubt the players have given up on him..
I don't think a guy like Brownie's given up on TM but I do think someone like DD may have or at the very least not too thrilled with TM's style of coaching.
