It didn't stop the other owners from not selling him the Texas Rangers even though he outbid Nolan Ryan's group.

I'm just speculating cause I'm not sure, but since this is a BK case I don't think it's going to be up to MLB this time around. I think it's going to go to the highest bidder.

He had the same happen with the Cubs. I think he'll get the Dodgers because he's staying very quiet other than saying he won't get in a bidding war. Cuban seems to be trying to do it the right way this time and having the Mavericks championship makes him more legit now.

I for one would like a light rail to the stadium. I used to travel to Rockies games that way and it was extremely convenient and cheap.

The Rangers were also in bankruptcy

There's so many names being mentioned that I don't know who is the right owner. I do know that the new owner better adhere to this list-

That's a good list. I'd attack the concessions before bathrooms but whatever.

Definitely agree on God Bless America and Don't Stop Believin'...

The new owner's first act should be to drop parking to $10. It would make him an instant hero ala Artie Moreno cutting beer prices.

Updating the Dodger scoreboard would be nice. It's 2011, everything has to be in HD. And who still uses matrix boards? That thing in right field has got to go.

Come on man. You've seen how long it takes them just to do earthquake renovation on the highways. How long do you think it takes to build a rail to Dodger Stadium?

At more than twice the original budget.

Rails to sporting events and bullet trains just won't happen here because it just makes too much sense.

Californians as a whole get dumber each year.

But hey, we're healthy!

More like they don't make any sense. The point of establishing these is to generate more commerce and given the costs, I don't see how much more commerce would be generated.
