Halpern sniped him. He comes in after with a "sorry buddy" look on his face.

Here's a fun exercise I wish I could post for the Internet as a whole, but I'm starting here, because you are my peeps and our mutual Caps love makes everything okay...

Boy, the Caps were dominant tonight in the 3rd period.

I haven't seen us dominate a period like that in a while!

Do ya see the difference? It's subtle but it's there! Please correct this all-too-common oversight.

Love that Johansson was the first to congratulate Eakin and was the one getting the puck for him on the Brouwer goal. Hopefully those two continue to developing chemistry. A speed demon line with them for the next several years would be awesome.

Hendricks played like a bat out of hell tonight, especially in the first two periods.

even a BB defender like me must admit: this team is playing a pretty complete game, and i love rolling all 4 lines... canoebull and his 4th line absolutely DOMINATED tonite... shades of Kono/Halpy/Dahlen i tell ya!

btw - Carolina color man called Carlson the "young Duncan Keith of the East" ... i'm not sayin' ... just sayin'

is this the year? hope all is well with everyone here

So I went to the Lightning game again tonight, the last time I did that was when we played the Wings. 7-1 and 5-1 wins and the only 2 games I've missed this season. FML.

Even JFS has played ok, for him, lately.
based on play, hammer AINEC

carlzner
green-ersk
wides-schultz

no-brainer, but damn BB for sitting ersk, i bet.

And as Eakin -- freshly cleaned up from his encounter with shaving gel -- strolled past Ovechkin, he shouted "Thanks, Ovi!" at the Washington captain. Without skipping a beat during an interview, Ovechkin shot back, "No problem."

Backstrom was fantastic defensively last night. So many little plays to take away scoring chances or break up the cycle.

Just got done watching this domination.
Couple of things: With princes Crosby out Skinner is quickly approaching levels of hatred that i only reserve for a few... As i said earlier the team the Canes are probably the dive-iest ream in the league.
Even with Hamrlik playing like **** and Green out D looked strong, Erskin just gives them snarl.
This team can beat you in so many ways. Remember the days when OV had to score 30% of our goals for the team to be somewhat competitive? Well, thats over now... This is what balansed team looks like. Regular season looks like a walk in the park right now, I just hope we avoid major injuries come April.

Today i've left my 30's....
