Misconduct for starting a second fight during a stoppage or something stupid like that. Appparnetly that's a rule

Worried about Callahan, the CBC feed showed him on the bench with the trainer, doing something with his arm. Hope it's nothing big

Richards with that huge goal/ MDZ with a Leetch like move/ Stepan with two beautiful passes.

ALso, not the greatest game outside of the first period, but solid enough and Montreal gives this team so many fits I"ll take any win

PP needs to be better than that, and while Gaborik is playing pretty well, he needs to get some more option shots or something. Needs to get some goals in the net

Also, losing Sauer probably upset the defense quite a bit

I went with:

AA
Richards
Dstep

Without that clutch goal by Richards, I don't know if we walk out of this game with 2 points.

1) Richards
2) Del Zotto
3) DStep

Pretty solid game all around. Had a good first period and a solid shut down 3rd period. 2nd was pretty weak and the powerplay is still atrocious but hopefully it will get better.

I missed the game, sadly. But I see Avery barely got any ice time. Did something happen, or did Torts just hate him?

I know everyone is going to complain about the PP, but you gotta give props to Montreal's PK ability.

I'm going to remain positive: what I love is that this team is finally keeping someone constantly in-front of the goalie, and it is paying off.

Great win. Was the prettiest win? Nope. Will I take it? 10/10.

Just responding to the trolls gives them the satisfaction of knowing they got under our skin.

Don't even listen to them, let's just bask in a good win and move on.

They just called him up, what exactly has he done to deserve breaking up a solid top 6?

i voted for mdz (good goal), cally he brought quite a bit of energy, and other (avery)

the reason i voted for avery was simple....he played a simple game, did not try to do anything crazy, did not go insane on the ice, he kept it simple got a shot or 2 on net, backchecked well, skated fast, got a couple hits in there, talked to his teammates on the bench...seems calm, i hope he keeps it going and gets a bit more ice time as time goes on

..Really?

I thought they had a great first, and were very pedestrian for the rest of the game. Thought Lundqvist was shaky all game, and Eminger was a heart attack every other shift. Definitely thrilled with the outcome, not with the performance though.

I'd have the same 3 stars however, maybe substitute Richards for MDZ. Played 27 minutes, was a rock, and scored a great goal.

I get the impression that Boyle, while a great teammate, isn't the smartest hockey player as well...
