So is the snow shower a new rule this year or some thing? I don't recall it ever being called before Dubi did a couple of days ago..

1. Anisimov
2. Richards
3. MDZ

Honorable mention: Dan Girardi. Stepan had a good game too.

LOL @ some Habs fans defending the hit.

Not sure what that says. But if Stalman is in, who sits? Emminger or Woy?
Eminger played 18 minutes tonight. Woywitka played about 7 minutes.

Eminger is an interesting player, because from shift to shift you can seem him either make a brilliant play, or an absolutely AWFUL misread that anyone who has ever played hockey at any level can see. So it really is about monitoring his minutes. Staal can't come back quick enough imho.

Was that Arty pass to Girardi on purpose? I had to watch the loser feed - terribly horrible announcers.

That definitely wasn't on purpose. It looks like he lost control of the puck and a Montreal defender knocked it away into Girardi.

if the rangers win their games in hand, they could find themselves at the top of the conference (depending on what Washington does)...this is despite a hellacious schedule to start the season.

On MDZ. Kid had a very good game today, 27 minutes of ice time and stepped in nicely with Sauer out. Mistake here and there but all defensmen make them, he's played well all season. Really happy for him.

And that McDonagh guy wasnt too shabby.

I agree that he is hot and cold, but I have never seen these brilliant plays you talk about.

He's just a pansy with the puck. It's like he tries to look flashy for the fans and people watching on TV. Over stickhandles, exaggerates all his passes, etc. He throws his weight around nicely, and he demonstrated last season that he is a capable 3rd pairing defenseman, I just think he's been a bit lackluster this year.

Before the homestand I said I expected this team to win at least 4 games out of the 6. Lost first 2 (did pick up a point against Sens), won last 3 with a game to go. Could've been 4-1 if it wasnt for that collapse against Ottawa.
