Over stickhandles, exaggerates all his passes, etc. He throws his weight around nicely, and he demonstrated last season that he is a capable 3rd pairing defenseman, I just think he's been a bit lackluster this year.
there was 1 play tonight wher Woywitka got beat to his area, and Eminger came outta nowhere, flattened the guy, took the puck behind the net and made a perfect outlet pass.

I love plays like that...maybe brilliant isnt the right word...but id say he makes several great plays a game, and several WTF plays a game.

Game was also broadcast on NHL network so that will do it

With everything that's out there and all of their blackout rules, I'm surprised anyone purchases it.

That was why it was blacked out. Nationally televised games (Versus and NBC) and games on NHL Network (for some retarded reason) are all blacked out of GameCenter and Center Ice

If you're not in the local MSG broadcast area, then it is indeed worth it to get GameCenter or Center Ice, even with the blackouts

It's fun to see the main board flip out after every controversial call in favor of the Rangers

Habs board is going crazy too whining about the refs.

And the snow shower call. I guess they don't know that the refs are calling that this year.

Maybe they should get on Subban's case for the beatiful deflection goal for the Rangers.

I've gotta say that I'm thrilled Del Zotto is giving everyone who wanted him traded a giant middle finger these days. Good for him.

It's good seeing those votes spread around seven guys fairly evenly.

Anyone have the Del Zotto goal?

My MSGHD feed for Cablevision (ironically) spazzed out for a while.

pretty well i guess...he seems to be a board player this year, and isnt much of a net presence like in years past. he was good at getting some dirty goals and second chance goals, right now hes just trying to play a grinders game. :-/

Giving AA and Del Zotto votes for big games and "Crusher" one for that epic goal celebration.

If you're referring to EC...yes, that was quite the celly. I thought the same of his shootout celebration. He's just like "eh, cool, whatever." I love it, he seems to be playing with confidence lately.

Sounds like you are one among many of us who see this team getting their scoring spread out. The fact that Gaborik did not get (or merit) a 3 star selection tonight, and NYR still won, is a good sign. This is crazy good improvement, people stepping up, the load getting spread.
Some guys have still not really found their game, too.

EC has been a plus to this roster so far this season. Not gonna expect it to last forever, but it's enjoyable when the guy is going.

That was a $60M dollar momentum swing.

Richards really raises this team to another level, and tonight was a good example of that.

It's funny that some fans were afraid to sign him because of what happened with Gomez and Drury. But Richards is proving that there is a huge difference between good players and great players.

I loved watching him go into the net. An empty net and an empty header.

The one glaring negative to this game (I thought Lundqvist was average) was the TOI distribution, which obviously was tilted by Sauer. 30:50 for Girardi in a 60 minute game with another game in 24 hours is too much, especially with Woywitka playing only 6 minutes all game.

Sauer better be ready to handle 27+ tomorrow.

A little worried about the distribution of ice time with a game tomorrow. I realize Sauer got knocked out but giving the 4th line only 4 mins and woywitka only 6?

I'm not against that, especially since we won but hopefully the after effects don't show tomorrow.
