The Kings have two dominating shifts by the #1 and #2 lines, the play is stopped after Brown's high-stick goal. Terry sends out the 3rd line, and just like that the game is tied. You could see it coming a million miles away.
Kopitar was dominant, Gagne was good, Williams was ok but opportunistic. Still had some hiccups.
Richards and Brown played better but they have to finish their chances. Parse was ok, won a nice board battle with Letang right before Brown's non-goal. Overall I think that line had a quality game.
The 3rd line, what can you say. Pathetic, awful, disastrous, ugly. Use whatever adjective you like. Jarret Stoll and Dustin Penner are making nearly $8 million between them, read that number again folks, $8 million for these two hockey players. And Ethan Moreau is just a bad hockey player, tonight's penalties were foolish and selfish. This guy is a 13th forward, not a third line player.
I asked after the last GDT...
What are Stoll and Penner doing to stay in the lineup?
Right now ....Nothing. But they will remain in the Lineup. So we all have to deal with it.
So I guess the Kings don't want to use Jack on the shootout anymore. Not in two years. I just don't understand why the Kings are put in a position to fail by not putting their best players in the SO. Gagne and Brown were a joke. Stoll was simply stupid shooting where he did but at least he has a history of scoring.
I am off the Murray bandwagon. I've defended him too long. He's just mind boggling.
This++
Stoll and Penner have been atrocious. And TM will never bench Stoll
Brown may have not been the best choice but he wasn't a bad choice.
Exactly. He played a fine game. I dont understand how fans can hate on him so much. Ever thought it was you and not him?? Maybe you should lower your expectation.
The Kings are a ****ing joke of a team right now. I'm sick and tired of watching every other team in the ****ing league come back and win it late in games while we struggle to score over two goals.
Side note on the the terrible people who work at Fox sports west!
1. It's annoying enough with all the transplants in LA that we have to deal with a large number of the opposing teams fans. It's annoying to hear them cheer when their team scores. Can you AT LEAST not rub in the Kings fans face when the other teams scores but going to shot the of the opposing teams fans EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN TIME!!!
2. When Staples center is jumping and loud. Don't turn volume down, so we can hear Bob and Jim better! Let the fans at home feel the energy in the building!
Been meaning to say this for awhile. Fox Sports West broadcasts SUCK!
Exactly. He played a fine game. I dont understand how fans can hate on him so much. Ever thought it was you and not him?? Maybe you should lower your expectation.
It's not Brown, it's the fact he sucks in shootouts and the moron that coaches this group, keeps putting him in the top 3 shooters.
At least the goals were 5 on 5. There were a lot of positives in this game.
Still, 0-2-2 in their last 4 isn't good, particularly at home, where they are well on their way to ******** the bed for 2 years in a row on a long homestand.

Brown is predictable, he has no moves, he doesn't change up his style when its apparent its not working. Now why the **** would you want to go with this turd when you have JMFJ and Williams in the lineup?
Now we gotta listen to TM's ******** interview, **** this coach, I've had it with this alzheimer, emotionless hack
Can't believe there isn't a decent crossbar level angle camera at Staples.
Can't believe how many bandwagon fans Pittsburgh has in LA. So lame.
It seems that no matter how much talent is on the Kings our strategy will always be defense first and try and win 1-0. That made perfect sense 3 seasons ago, now not so sure...
What does everyone think of Doughty this year? Hope he is just rusty.
Exactly. He played a fine game. I dont understand how fans can hate on him so much. Ever thought it was you and not him?? Maybe you should lower your expectation.
Johnson played a fine game too. It just wasn't a smart move.
At least the goals were 5 on 5. There were a lot of positives in this game.
Still, 1-3 in their last 4 effectively with the OT points isn't good, particularly at home, where they are well on their way to ******** the bed for 2 years in a row on a long homestand.
Don't know what the deal is with the Kings and home games. But the road seems to be where they turn it on.
