Who cares if he made a bad play. He was due, and we still won the game. I'll take it, I expect him to bounce back, I'm not as bored as the rest of you.
Take it easy there pilot. No one was crucifying Prust. Of course he is allowed to make a bad play. All we're saying is that Torts rightfully opened his mouth to Prust. It was good coaching.

Just made the mistake of checking out the Montreal board. I don't know why I do this to myself. Those Montreal fans never fail to remind me why they're the most despicable fan base in the NHL.

I wouldn't worry about Dubi's lack of goal scoring. I think he's just not trying to force it because although he's not scoring goals, he's been making great plays. Those goals will come.

Good coaching? Berated the guy over one play when normally he makes the correct move. Kinda grandstanding if ya ask me.

What's your point? If you don't make mistakes often, it's ok to make a bad mistake? It's never ok to make a mistake. You can't treat certain players nicer than others just because they normally make the right move. He made a turnover that led to a great scoring chance, if they scored there, would you be ok because Prust barely makes those mistakes?

Tort was totally overboard with his reaction. yelling is one thing, he made a scene. It was grandstanding like he wanted the whole team to witness it like they don't understand making mistakes is wrong. I think they get it. He was just doing what he only knows how to do when it comes to coaching, IMO.

Well fantastic, because the team won 5-3.

Love how Stepan received the pass and all in one motion, flung a perfect no look pass across to Christensen.

Stepan thinks the game so incredibly fast. Sometimes it's even too fast for his body. If he had better physical tools like speed and agility, he'd likely be a perennial 80-100 point player. still, he's an awesome player and the bumping around from wing to center to wing hasn't phased him at all. He's made a few amazing quick passes finding Gaborik and gabby has missed those chances. Richards is elite and I'm sure he can have success with Gaborik if they play together, but Im more impressed with stepans ability to find Gaborik when it doesn't seem like there's a lane at all, but he gets the puck right onto his tape. Stepan is going to be a very very special player for a very long time.

I think I want to see Stepan with brad and gabby again.

Stepan Richards Gaborik
Dubinsky Anisimov Callahan
Avery Christensen _________
Prust Boyle Fedotenko

For that third line spot, I'd be happy seeing Hagelin, zuccarello, even bourque get chances there to see what works best. Maybe we need some size there though, so I'm thinking Hagelin might be a good fit.

He had a great game, and is having a really great bounce-back season so far.

being a ranger fan, sometimes our board can be really awful to read...some really stupid crap posted whenever the team loses 1 or 2 or god forbid loses to the islanders.

but man, you guys have it WAY worse. seriously, the fans their overreact to EVERYTHING. its insane. not to mention the fact that your board has like 50 new posts every 5 seconds. reading this board is difficult to do as it is, and i sit at a computer all day while im working....posting on the habs board is probably a full time job.
