The Detroit game notwithstanding, I am LOVING Timmy this year, and I can't wait to see him get even better- and partner w/Miller for Team USA...

Great to hear Timmy's progressing so well. I've been a fan of his since his junior days and went to the Detroit game specifically to see him play. Figures he would decide to have a bad night then.

FOR SURE do not take his performance that night as an indication of his overall play this season. He's been very good and continually improving. He's developing a nice hipcheck and a bit of nastiness, and he has pretty impressive speed. I think the Kings did the right thing in having him just focus on his own zone originally, and they're doing the right thing now by giving him some more permission to join the play.

Plus, Aaron Miller is just an awesome mentor for him. In many Kings fans opinions, Timmy has actually breathed a little new life into Miller, and he's bringing out a tiny bit of a [welcome] nasty streak in him.

The kid's good, and just improving. He's going to be a legitimate two-way threat. Just keep watching!

good point on miller and i agree. im not sure wat it is, whether it be murray giving him the A and im assuming, more responsibilities, but Miller has been very solid this year and i think tyring ot make up for all the injuries of hte past. another unsung hero that deserves a lota credit!

Yeah I think that since Gleason plays so nasty that it's forcing Miller to do so as well, and I love it. Like in the Anaheim game when Brennan highsticked Gleason, who jumped Brennan? Aaron Miller.

I wonder why Gleason has been hesitant on offense over the last 8 games. At the beginning I thought we may get 35 points from him.

I'm happier with him becoming a defensive specialist for now and letting the offense come at his own pace. I also won't particularly mind if the offense never comes, as along as he continues to improve the rest of his game. There are loads more defensemen like Corvo and Modry in the minors and Europe with offense on the brain and almost zero defensive ability. Good defense is a little harder to come by.

Exactly. If we were really hard up for offense from a dman we could just sign Mantyla.
