Gotta love this 4 game home win streak!!

A couple of much needed off days, I'm hoping for a good effort Wednesday night.

In games other than the 9-8 victory over Philly, Winnipeg has only 25 goals in 13 games.

not unless he starts shooting. imho thats all it comes down to. hes simply not shooting the puck. hes not even trying to shoot, hes passing at every opportunity. breakaway? let me wait for some help so someone else can shoot.

i dont know wtf is wrong with him, but his complete lack of desire to shoot the puck is baffling.

My story for Inside Hockey is on Derek Stepan, but it might not get posted until morning.

you need to increase the resolution on your monitor OR use the zoom function of the browser and zoom out. It's cut up because it doesn't fit on your screen.

If I zoom in, everything get's extremely small. I checked his threads from last year and I noticed the image sizes were 400x300 and now it's 500x300. Wraparounds, do you think you can re-size the images?

The Good: Pretty much everyone.

The Bad: --

The Redden: Allowing Burmistrov to run around trying to injury everyone and nobody stepping up to him. Garden crowd yelling SHOOT SHOOT every 5 seconds into a rangers PP.

Btw, where are the actual awards for the Sean Avery trophy? Maybe it's just me but I don't see any names. Though the "memorial trophy" is kind of flawed now that Avery's back.

NEW YORK Before the game Derek Stepan took praise, and a promotion from his head coach.

During the game Stepan scored a man advantage goal after being inserted onto the top power play line, and added an even strength assist to lead the Rangers (7-3-3) to a 3-0 win over Winnipeg (5-7-2) at Madison Square Garden on Sunday evening.

Good to see because a couple of days back on NHLN Marty Turco called Schneider the best back-up in the league (not even "arguably") and I took offense to that right away with Biron in mind. I hate when commentators make half-ass statements like this.

He looked like he really wanted to score that empty net goal last night but he should be praised for not overstaying his shift on the ice.

That's not really that outlandish. Scheinder could (and should) be a starter in this league.

100% Agree on the "Shoot it's!" No crowd interaction or chant gets me more annoyed than this. These guys know what they need to do. Let them play thier game. All "Shoot it" does is pressures your OWN players into hasty decisions.

Stepan leveled Burmistrov behind the net,. Later Callahan did the same on an open ice hit. Good to see a good physical game like that. Before this game, I never thought of Burmistrov as a physical player. My hats off to this kid. He's fun to watch.

The Redden : MSG for not showing the replay of Stepans hit on Burmistrov, which ended up in a penalty. We never got to see the replay on it.
