The bottom six gets a new look:

Moreau-Stoll-Parse
Clifford-Richardson-Lewis

Let's see how many shots they'll combine for tonight.

I think the Kings will win 4-3. 2 PP goals both on deflections. This way TM will say this is what we need to do more often, it's the shot mentality with getting shots through from the point.

And I'm being way over optimistic with the 4 goals, I just feel with it being a Road game TM can't get outcoached as he doesnt get the last line change.....

I like it.

Moreau's back at LW where he's more effective and I can see Clifford having a better game with Richie and Lewis on the line.

I know Lewis likes being a center better, but I have a feeling we'll like what we see from him at RW.

I agree. I want the win, but if we lose, let's loose 8-7 or something, just so we can have a change of pace. get some of these guys out of their scoring funk too.

I was being facetious. I don't want to see them give up that many goals. This team would then be really searching for an identity.

That would be nice. I don't remember the last time the Kings scored on a deflection, which says something about their net-front presence and the ability to get shots through from the point.

Nah, I'd chalk it up to being an off night by Quick. Dude's been awesome, he's due for a bad game. They happen.

Either way, let's just win this game and sort it all out over shark stew later.

Kings are 3-0 when Quick gets a shutout. The only regulation win that wasn't a shutout was the Dallas game.

The Kings haven't score more than 2 regulation goals in 11 of 13 games.

I wonder when AEG will expect better results with this payroll.

Guessing the results of a Kings game the past few years is such a crap shoot with Murray at the helm. So much of the offense relies on luck and so much of the defense relies on Quick that guessing is futile.

With that said, Kings lose 4-2 (empty net). Reverse psychology?

Who's that?

And it's not being negative, it's lowered expectations.

Bob Errey, Jamie Baker and Johan Garpenlov will always haunt the Kings. As will Igor Larionov and Sergei Makarov.
