I'd imagine it's Rinne. At game time he will have had basically three full days since the puck dropped on his last game, but tomorrow night we do face the Ducks. We may see Rinne in both, and then Lindback starts the homestand off against the EC Canadiens.

While they are listed as game-time decisions, Klein hasn't skated since the Phoenix game. I'm expecting him to be out again. With back to back games, I think we could see SK sit another night and get the same lineup as at San Jose...

Probably. This is where the info is from:

Quote:
Kevin Klein (ankle) did not practice. Sergei Kostitsyn (lower body muscle) did practice. Both are considered probable and game-time decisions for tomorrow’s contest against the Kings.
Cooper

It also sounds like SK did skate at practice yesterday, but in a different jersey. Probably zero contact.

Edit: Well, beaten to it. There ya go

Excited for this one. I'll be in attendance and hope to push my road record in regular season games to 5-0.

With that being said, I assume Rinne will be in tonight with Lindback tomorrow. Rinne has two full days of rest since Saturday so I don't see why not.

I don't know if he still does this because I never pay attention anymore, but I know Trotz used to have a rule where he wouldn't play the same goalie in back-to-back nights. Even if he doesn't do that anymore I think you've gotta start Lindback tomorrow anyway. His confidence may already be shaky because it's a month into the season and he hasn't started, and has had Rinne's extension thrown in his face. If he doesn't even get the start in the back end of a back-to-back he may really get down on himself. I realize he's a pro athlete and it comes with the territory but he is a good goalie and you've got to show faith in him. Of course I never want to see Rinne sit, but for Lindback's good I think you start him tomorrow.

Honestly SK played one game and sat out after, sit him out if your not sure about his health. No point in risking further injury.

Go Preds!

if it's a close game, i will alternate back and forth! The agenda for this afternoon is to go home and take a nap, wake up, play some MW3, watch the preds game and maybe dinner in there somewhere as well.

i kind of have a bad feeling...the Kings are historically troublemakers for us. I seem to remember two games last season in which they did the "score on the first shot of the game en route to a blowout" deal on us.

That, and it's Predators hockey. Eventually your bottom always drops out

Thanks Buzz Killington.

Go Preds baby.

Edit: We could see Lindback start tonight. He was the first one off the ice.

Cooper says that it sounds like Lindy is in, but nit confirmed yet. SK and Klein are still gametimes.

Any of our walking wounded out tonight should be out tomorrow as well. The schmucks will look to injure our guys.

The Kings are on a five game slide. They will be coming out desperate early, and the Preds absolutely should not sit back at all.

A tough couple of physical games here. I'd almost prefer to keep anyone who is still nursing an injury out until after the Ducks game since we know that LA will likely be playing with a chip on their shoulders (due to their skid) and the Ducks... well... it's the Ducks. Enough said about that

edit: I didn't notice, but MTTA basically said what I did

About to head down to the game. I'll try to bring us some luck. First game I've gotten to see in person since Game 6 against Anaheim and I just got my yellow Fisher jersey. All things are a go.

Lindback is likely. I haven't heard any 100% confirmation though.

I was going to say that with LA's trouble scoring so far this year that Lindback is likely to go tonight, but Anaheim is having even more trouble. If I would have said that 13 games into the season Nashville would be well ahead of both Los Angeles and Anaheim in G/G everyone would have said I'm insane (and I likely would have been joking), but here we are.

Tonight it will important for Nashville to stay out of the box. LA's PP is working even if their ES offense isn't so much.
