Khabby!!! Not much else.

I did think that the 4th line and the kid line had 2 terrific shifts that tilted the game towards the Oilers in the last 6 minutes or so. Smyth was excellent tonight, it's amazing what a difference having a vet like him makes.

Petry was pretty putrid tonight, he's going to get sent down for sure when Whitney comes back. I'm getting a bit concerned with his progression.

A win is a win, on to the Big Bad Bruins and the best player in the 2010 draft Mr.Seguin

Horcoff's finish level went from 5/100000 to 0 tonight BTW.

These are the type of games that last year they would have totally given up in the second and handed them the game. This year the defense and goaltending are standing up and keeping us in these types of games. Like I said in the other thread, if we make the playoffs this year Bulin is winning the Vezina.

Awards:
1st star: Khabibulin
2nd star: Khabibulin's mother
3rd star: Khabibulin's father

Mom and dad deserve credit for pro-creating and parenting a beast.

I didn't have too much fun watching my team tonight but if you thought they looked exciting then, okay.

You guys deserved this one.

First Oilers game I've seen this year but Khabibulin is looking pretty damn impressive. Good work beating the Habs! The divers were out in full force tonight.

If only we had a Proper 3rd line.

Habs pushed us around. We had no response... Bruins are going to manhandle us

Yeah they didn't score this game, they only carried the team in scoring for the first 10 games. They should probably abandon that line.

Oh and that Hall hit is what makes him so special. He might have left his feet, but his competitiveness is what sets him apart. He has been struggling with the puck big time so it's nice to see him try to get involved in other ways.

Somebody needs to dress down Tom Renney about those line-changes. It's his job, and they're changing with the puck on the oppositions stick in the neutral zone FAR too often.

Good game, I really like watching the Oilers. The kid line looked worse than I've seen all season, didn't seem like they had that much ice time. But there were a few shifts and flashes of complete dominance .

Bulin continued his incredible play too

Does anyone else feel that the amount of crying, whining, and booing from the Bell Center always tends to lead to the referees being influenced against the away team?

No kidding. The freaking Habs pushed us around. Wonder what the big bad Bruins will do to the Oilers.

Weren't 8 of the first 10 games played at home? The kids, other than RNH, haven't done anything on the road. When your team is scoring less than 2 goals per game, you need your first line contributing.

Heres what i dont get... If Gagner takes the faceoffs on the 2PP, why have Belanger play on the unit, much less the point?

The veteran line really came together in the 3rd.

If I remember correctly Hall had two really big hits. So strong

Still don't know if khabby is for real? I mean we all remember last year yes? Last year sucked. And now that I'm seeing this I don't know what to believe or do. And we have guys that aren't rolling yet too...
IMO this is all great coaching. I can't explain the turn around any other way.

Part of that was the Habs speed, the Bruins won't be as quick.

That explains the weird tick thing he has with his eyes. Every time the camera zooms in on his face his eyes and face are twitching like a cokehead's.
