Good:
-Winning
-Gaustad
-Pominville
-Vanek
-Roy offensively, especially on the PP
-Tropp getting his first goal
-First PP unit
-Miller with some big saves late in the game
-McCormick-Glass fight
-Gragnani-Ehrhoff for once wasn't the worst pairing on the ice...Not that the bar was set very high this game
-Regehr was solid, probably best d-man on the ice
Bad:
-Miller was off for most of the game
-Second PP unit
-Defense
-Defensive coverage
-Gerbe with two rather stupid penalties
Ugly:
-Sekera-Myers
-Myers taking that idiotic penalty
Winning
Offensive players stepping up and making plays , making the refs think about calls and luckily it went in our favor tonight
Bad:
Millers woes continue
Our D was horrible , puck watching and not getting good shots/passes from the point , as well as leaving gigantic gaps of space in our D zone
Jame, Fing0rz ..... Was one, just one goal NOT Millers fault? Review the plays, the goals. I'll wait with baited breath to read your response.
They're his fault by association. Just like those goals are on the D, as well. You gain nothing by doing this. Miller could have saved all of those shots but didn't. They weren't easy saves but oh well. That's how it goes.
Vanek, Pominville, Gaustad carried the team tonight. Unbelievable games from those three tonight. Leaders being leaders, love to see that.
Ehrhoff-Grags did not give up a goal when they were on the ice. Ehrhoff was rock solid defensively today, he should not be lumped in with the bad defense. Grags was OK, but Ehrhoff carried that pair in their own end.
Yes, we got some good calls. Yes, we gave up 5 goals.
But Miller finally got a win. Let's see if he can start to regain his form with at least one monkey off his back. Plus late in the third, he started to look like the Miller we're used to: poised, swallowing shots...
I like the chances of Miller breaking out of this slump.

3 goals came on prime scoring chances. When those go in... i hear "that was unstoppable".... or "He had no chance". But he DOES stop those premier scoring opportunities... and when he does, i hear "great save" or "he stole that game".
So are those premier scoring chances that he stops just pure luck? since if they go in, the shot was unstoppable?
I don't have a negative opinion of Miller as a goalie, I have an indifferent opinion about goaltending in general.
in regards to tonight's game. I think he was not sharp. The 2nd goal, he read the play late. the Byfuglien goal, he barely reacted to the shot, the goal that came off the boards... i don't know what he was doing there, he took himself way out of the play.
Pomminville was awesome, for whatever reason that looked like the best game I've ever seen him play.
McCormick. Pushing the envelope on male evolution with every shift.
B:
This thread title, is it a sarcastic jab at RM or just a poor observation? I'm glad he got a win, but lets not polish this tin medal into gold (no pun intended).
The Jets. I'm sorry if any Jets fans read this but your team is the WORST team I've seen this season. They are so bad, I don't know how they are ever in any games let alone have a lead or actually WIN one. I'm embarrassed for the Sabres, they should have won this game 6-2, they had too work hard to match the suck level.

Ummmm wow. I enjoyed the game, it was very entertaining and eventful. But, most of those goals were due too retarded plays or amazingly dumb penalties. I would rather watch a low scoring well played game then that one.
