This is funny since if I recall correctly your team got trolled by blowing a 4-1 lead in the 3rd period, not to mention losing the game at the end. I mean, everyone knows that the Senators suck, but what does that say about the mental and testicular fortitude of your team?

Just messin. Hope it's aggressive tonight.
I'm hoping it gets a bit chippy as well. Chance for Avery to show something!

They've responded with four straight wins. I guess that says something.

I'm talking about that part, when hes running his mouth and when challenged he refuses to fight. I hate that.

When it comes to defending a teammate I'm more impressed by the non-fighters also doing that, like when Callahan fought Blunden after a hit on Dubinsky,
which btw was a clean hit

Questions will be answered tonight during the game.

Rangers looking for a 5 game win streak and the chance to move up in the standings, Sense looking for a chance to get revenge and above .500

End of the day ottawa has won 7 of 15. 7 wins 8 loses. Rangers have won 7 of 13. 7 wins 6 loses. If those two less loses make you feel better so be it but it doesn't change the fact that the sens know that this isnt their year while the rangers feel like they have a contender. Btw sens lead the head to head battle.

Awww, Peter "something special" Regin isn't playing? That guy has HOF written all over him, wish we could watch him dominate.

If this game gets as physical as it sounds I hope Tortorella doesn't waste any time in getting a tough body on Gaborik's line.

Kill 2 with 1 and throw Dubinsky up there and maybe he pots a goal too.

I'm not saying this as a shot at the AA - Step - Gabby line, I'm saying it JUST for tonight as the game could get out of hand and if there's a post-whistle scrum with that line on the ice do you want AA and Step there for Gaborik? Or a Dubinsky/Avery type...

It's unfortunate he got hurt but at most it was an interference penalty. Wolski is not a dirty player.
A head shot to a player without the puck is ok because he didnt use his elbow? Serious or no? Wolski may not be a dirty player but that particular play was.

On top of that it was done to the longest serving captain in the nhl and arguably the best player on the team to expect ottawa's players or its fans not to be fired up is somewhat short sighted in my opinion.

Wow between the Sens GDT and posts in here they should change their name to the Ottawa Trollators.

That's all I'm gonna say, LGR!

Are you aware that you get a point for losing in OT? You don't just group losses and overtime losses together like that. Rangers have gotten at least a point in 10 of 13. Senators have gotten at least a point in 7 of 15. Big difference.

And head to head match-up doesn't mean **** because Ottawa will be nowhere near NYR at the end of the season, let alone tied.

That's great!

Maybe your team should lose tonight so you can win four more in a row then.

What happened after the specific game in question does not change the events of that Saturday afternoon. After all, it was a big day for your team since they were trying to get their first win at home after the renovation while for the Senators, it was just another Saturday afternoon game.

I'm well aware you get one point. Doesn't turn a loss into a win. That's my view. Yours may vary. I guess years of mediocrity will give you a different view. I feel no better after a OTL. Do you?

I agree completely with that philosophy, although, at the end of the day, a 7-3-3 record is still far more impressive than a 7-7-1 record.

I prefer getting one point to getting no points. I don't really see where you're going with that.

Make sure to remind me in April about that game. I'm sure you won't be too busy watching the Sens play then.

Man, us being mean to the Senators fans, them giving up 4 goals a game, us on a hot streak, I think we are setting ourselves up for disappointment tonight. That's just how it works.

We are referred to as the "Flamers" in their GDT title. I think they deserve everything they get.
