Seriously.

A shove to the shoulder, to make it 5v3?
Not a penalty IMO.

...

So, I get your point... I just don't agree about the Stuart shove being a penalty at all at that point, regardless of whether Roy sold it or not (and IMO he did).

If the situation was reversed, and that was called on the Sabres at that point in the game, I'd be furious.
And I'm pretty sure everyone here would too.
It certainly looked embellished. I don't think the shove was strong enough that it normally would have knocked a player down (even one of Roy's size), and I also don't think it would have been called if Roy had stayed on his feet. So whether or not he actually embellished, the fact that it led to a 5-on-3 just leaves a bad taste. If I were a Winnipeg fan I wouldn't be happy with the call at all.

Ehrhoff has been holding on to the puck too long. I'd like to see him blasting his 1-timers much more quickly, like he was in pre-season.

I thik it is more than that. Erhoff was okay last night. He is our most gifted offensive d man. He was brought in here for those exact opportunities.

Either Ruff is not happy wiith him and was sending a message or Ruff is in love with MAG, thinking he is going to mold Campbell 2.0.

Essentially a "rookie" versus an experienced vet who is supposed to be the guy and needs to produce?? I choose Erhoff.

I will say that they were not looking at bombs away from the point, as Lindy loves that cross crease down low stuff on 4-3 and 5-3.

You must have missed the part where the Sabres were #1 in GAA in the Eastern Conference coming into this game. They are now merely #7 in the league. What a bunch of bums

I'm honestly not kidding you when I say this, Winnipeg is full of babies. The people of this town complain about more crap than any place I've ever been.

Let's not forget that Stuart has 30 pounds on Roy. It's a mismatch even before there is a stick between the legs.

Fluky play... But can be called.

Kinda like Stafford popping Sturm?

To be fair it was a little less blatant then the hit from behind on Erhoff late in the third.

I wanna see more of Tropp....

If he keeps up that play, there is no reason to put him out of the lineup....

VAP
LRS
GGB

Fixed.

Hecht won't be coming back anytime soon.

And I like the idea of a Tropp/McCormick/Kaleta line...."Three Man Killingspree"
