I feel like we consistently score early in periods and get scored on late.

Just looking at the numbers right now. The Preds' "terrible" offense currently has:
Patric Hornqvist on a 46 goal pace (58pt pace)
David Legwand on a 32 goal pace (82pt pace)
Craig Smith on a 32 goal pace (65pt pace)
Matt Halischuk on a 23 goal pace
(knocking on wood ferociously
)

God I hate to beat this dead horse but we really need better top six depth for these injuries. I know you can't plan who gets injured but you KNOW guys are going to get injured.

I really don't think Erat will be missing much time. It looks like he just needed to be stitched up because he was bleeding.
edit: Erat back

Nice look from Bergfors. Too bad it was broken up
edit: every time one of our guys gets into a race for icing I cringe a little. Especially against this team

This is the team the Ducks really should be. They just aren't able to put together full games like this I guess. Hopefully they revert back to their first period play soon

Corey Perry looks like a kid I knew in school who would always cause trouble, but would routinely get his face beaten in. Hmmm
