I thought about it, but went with Richards instead.

Over/under on minutes for Fraser tonight? 4 minutes?

Fraser sadly is an upgrade over a few of our bottom 6.

I actually think his game when healthy isn't bad for a bottom 6 guy. His IQ isn't great but he is a servicable player. I don't see exactly where he will fit in or how long we will keep him but his game is better than Hunters in many ways.

If he could figure out how to use all of his skillset he would be an acceptable asset for a competitive team. I will enter into this with some optimism.

2007-08 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 5 0 0 -2
2008-09 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 81 6 11 3
2009-10 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 70 7 12 6
2010-11 Edmonton Oilers NHL 67 3 2 -2

223 NHL games 16g 25a +/- = +9 oa/avg

I know, I know, stats don't say everything but in this case they say enough. CF has some game and can at times be somewhat effective. He can skate a bit and is an effective shot blocker. He isn't going to really help on O but he is better than some in his own end.

Again, not saying he is *the guy* for our bottom 6 but I stand by my observation that he is better than a few of the guys we are currently have back there.

I am not saying the guy is a world beater or even close. I will stand by my observation of him sadly being an upgrade when compared to a couple of our current bottom 6. Be prepared to be whelmed.

I didn't know he had a ginger afro. I almost prefer the ginger mullet his predecessor had.

He was so solid in Jr's I thought he would be a very good utility forward for a long time. He has said that he was sort of made to fill in as a JR ltwt pseudo goon and as such his game just sort of got stagnant.

I don't know about all of that but what I do know is that he plays with heart when given the chance. Of course this makes him a long shot for us under Granny M's guidance but who knows. It is either he Nolan or AA but as things sit for now having Parse out will be an upgrade unfortunately.

If he could play like Hartnell, we likely could solve a lot of our offensive depth issues. Would still need a pure goalscorer like a Semin or Parise, but Hartnell and Stoll on the third line would be pretty sweet. Or but him and Brown with Richards. That'd be a sweet line too.

Probably:

Gagne - Kopitar - Williams
Penner - Richards - Brown
Clifford - Stoll - Hunter
Moreau - Fraser - Richardson

Saw someone post earlier about how perfectly he fits in with our team

Former Flyer draft pick, Terry coached him as a rookie

Played for the Oilers

Awesome history of injuries, I mean the guy was TRADED injured!

What more could you want from him?

I really don't think that Lewis will come out of the line up. I really hope not. My guess:

Gagne - Kopitar - Williams
Penner - Richards - Brown
Richardson - Stoll - Lewis
Clifford - Fraser - Hunter
