I can't seem to find a link, but I distinctly remember that Linden signed for a low price because he 1) wanted jovo to re-sign 2) have a no-trade clause
... and Burke did give Linden a no-trade, saying that "I'm never going to trade Trevor as long as I'm GM, but in the event that I am not, I'm assuring Vancouver he will retire a Canuck"
Erm, unless you can find I link I have a hard time believing that. I'm sure Burke said something along the lines of Linden should retire a Canuck, but I can pretty much guarantee that there's nothing set in stone contractually.
Anyway, the bottom line is that neither Bertuzzi nor any other Canuck has a no-trade clause in their contract.
