Nationwide Arena management should get these people to come over immediately.

One of my friends was killed in an accident today south of Findlay. It sucks hard. He was such a great guy and had a great future ahead of him. I just can't believe that he's gone forever. :/

Just wanted to get that off my chest somewhere at 4:00 am.

I lost a friend the same way a number of years ago. He had moved to Philadelphia to take a promotion with his company and was killed in a car accident less than a week after he had moved there. I know how you feel (I had a lot of sleepless nights after that happened as well) and you certainly have my condolences.

That's rough. Prayers for you and for his family.

You have my condolences, for what they are worth

Losing somebody is always hard, but I think even worse when it comes as an utter "surprise". :

I don't know if this is against the rules to post, but donations are being collected to help reunite my friend who passed away on Monday with his family back in Nepal.

If this isn't allowed, I understand and a mod can remove it. But if you guys can help in any way so many people would appreciate it. Our campus is still in shock that this happened. Thanks guys.

Anyone here play hockey in Findlay at the Cube? I've wanted to learn how to play since I was a kid. I was wondering if anyone knew if they had instructional courses.

If you guys know of any info...

I know how ya feel I still watch the games (several times actually, to pull the highlights out) But just haven't wanted to be a part of the constant blame game going on. I talk about the team with my wife, but that's about it, as I just don't want to get upset at CBJ fans who have their own opinion that I don't agree with.

A fight with "my" fanbase caused me to quit following hockey altogether in the late 90's. I don't want it to happen again. And while I miss chatting with so many people it isn't worth it.

Hope to talk with you, mt-svk, again in the future.

Troublemakers like you are precisely why we're forming a Committee of Public Safety to protect the boards.

I bet your message of "I don't think everybody should be fired" or your "maybe you guys are being a bunch of drama queens by taking your "fire everybody" dump in every thread" message don't draw the ire of the committee.

I'm not sure how to handle your absence. Despite our disagreements, I'm fond of your posts (I read them imagining your accent).

Hope you and your daughter stay well. Come back soon.

Has anyone else ever had an odd reaction to certain scents? I recently bought a different brand of fabric softener (on sale) and while everyone else thinks it smells great, to me it smells just like bug spray? Seriously, I put my work clothes on Monday morning and it smells like someone just doused me with "Off".

Yes, for instance, my wife loves Irises; but, when she puts them in the house, they smell like vinyl to me! Otherwise, I have a very poor sense of smell, but those just jump out at me as soon as I walk in the door!
