Good read. I agree with most of what he said though I have yet to be to a game this season. I can also imagine the music selection being unfocused because it is mostly fan requests. Sounds like most aspects of the experience are moving in the right direction.

Terry should take the Clippers back before the lockout ends.

The pregame intro. The purpose of the pregame entertainment is to get the fans revved up. Get the fans into a hand clapping, foot stomping mood. The Sabres latest montage is anything but. Reminiscent of that lame video of that kid in Lackawanna eating breakfast then going off to Erie Basin Marina to play pond hockey from a couple seasons ago, this incarnation has another young kid running through the streets of Eggertsville with a flag, around Hoyt Lake, past City Hall, and to the arena, being joined by more and more fans. Crowd-deadening piano music accompanies the montage; then cue up random and disjointed highlight reel goals. By the time we get to “Street Fighting Man,” the audience is in snooze mode.
Every game that I've seen has "Baba O'Riley" playing as the Sabres flag gets passed across the fans....?

I'm over that flag. It was cool, but people can't manage to move it without making it look like crap.

Plus, whenever Leafs fans invade, they tend to sit in one section and snatch it up when it comes by. Or at least, they used to do that. Not sure about anymore.

I've been laughing and shaking my head for a few months about that. It looks good (acceptable) for about 5 sections, then it turns 90 degrees, and looks pathetic for about 3 more sections

I am actually disappointed with how they presented the locker room renovations. More of a hodge poge collective "Christmas comes early kids". I really preferred the extensive professional look done by Vancouver. It was a walk through experience, it was a real video. Perhaps they spent the budget on the europe trip video?

The exterior lighting is supreme.

Awards:
Had pizza during the Jets game and it was significantly better than anything they've served as pizza in the non-club area previously.

Still think the pre-game stuff is a bit too "gee wizz" and the musical selections are disjointed.
