yeah, that's the only part i'm watching. By all star game I mean the whole weekend.
I'd probably watch the draft if Kessel gets to pick this year.

If he does, I hope it goes a little like this (NSFW):

6pts in the last 6 games, I think he's coming around just fine, and deserves to be on the ballot. If he continues this pace, he should be in the game itself.

97th in the NHL in points. 272nd in goals. You better believe he deserves to be on the ballot.

I think its way too early to be breaking out the ballots. At least let us watch until Christmas. Still gives a month and a half before the all-star game.

14 games into the season... I'm not going to fret where his stats fall in the league. Come back to me in January.

The pace he's on in the last 6 I think is far more indicative of how he will play for the season.

Tbh, no big surprise. NHL always joking with us, so i dont pay attention to this anymore.

Is it Mikko Koivu or Saku Koivu, btw?

If he continues at this pace he'll have 5 goals and 52 points. If he scores PPG the rest of the year without the goals he'll have something like 75 points with 12 goals. Those...aren't all star numbers.

75 points ain't &^*($% All Star, but it is top ten center, which is where Koivu resides the last 2 seasons, pro rated for injury.
