I do not have time to read all previous posts so pardon if redundant.

Chico stunk - terrible rebounds and 2 of the goals were softies. This is too much of a pattern in his game.

Bundy stunk - news flash for eveyone I am sure.

Gags/Knuble/Fors were great again and carried the play almost every time on the ice.

Pits is so far beyond his years at this point that his game is just scary right now and I hope he keeps it up.

Brash was pitiful - how many times was he out there with Cairns and not only did not fight but was not even hitting.

Radio was very solid - too bad his hands are closer to granite than flesh.

Carter, again not enough ice time, looks to be coming on although Richards play has really leveled off and I am not sure why.

Hatcher went back to his old game and was not physical enough - I think rathje found the physical game tonight - maybe only one of those two is aloud to have a solid physical game per night?

All in all a great game to watch and a clutch 2 points.

The Florida announcers said repeatedly that Prims is worse and may not come back this year - I have heard very little and I think that is a bad sign.

That's what I saw. Not sure Hatcher played badly but didn't really nail anybody.

Therien flat out stinks, Brashear is horrible and Esche may be this teams Achilles Heel. But on the other hand, Gagne, Forsberg, Knuble, Pitkanen etc. are incredible.

This team is going to me dominant when Desjardins and Kapanen come back.

Carter needs more minutes...

(but seriously....can you guys slow down...we are trying to gain a distance for when you guys make up your 4 games in hand)

Man, do the Panthers have bad luck or what?

Watched some of this, flipped to this and HNIC most during Rangers commericals/intermissions.

Do the Panthers have bad luck late in games or what? and you guys keep pulling off this crazy crap late in games and we cant get far ahead of you!!

Just got back from the game, and read the posts ... I think you guys are being incredibly difficult on Esche.

He wasn't bad at all.

Huselius had an empty net tap-in. Roberts one-timed a perfect shot just inside the post. Hagman had all day long in front of the net, time to fake a shot, freeze Esche, and then able to move and roof one upstairs.

Sloppy defense on our own end during the first two periods.

You cannot discount the massive rebounds - they are a huge problem and granted those are good shots but some need to be stopped. He made no "big" saves, just the ones he should have had and none of the real tough shots.

He made a huge save with 30 seconds to go in a tie game.

Agreed. Other teams know about his lack of rebound control, and they know that if they take a shot and have someone heading for the net, they'll probably get a nice, juicy rebound a few times each game.

An entertaining game for sure, but with Luongo in net the cats take this one. Heck, with all the injuries we have, I'm surprised it wasn't a blowout for the Flyers. Nieuwendyk, Horton, Olesz, Van Ryn, Stewart and Mezei

I haven't been able to see any games so far except the Hurricane's game, but it seems that there are a lot of close scary games that the Flyers have won lately as was the case with this Panthers game. On paper, based on Florida's injuries and lack of Luongo in goal, the Flyers should have beaten them 6-1 (which I know, that's why they play the games). Whenever I see Ottawa game scores they always seem to be 6-0, 9-1, 32-2, 534-0, and such. I thinkn Ottawa is the best team in the Eastern Conference right now, and even though the Flyers beat them several games ago, I don't see how this Ottawa team can be stopped short of injuring their top line along with Redden and Chara. Just my worthless opinion.

Our first line is just as good as the Sens. Our problem is not having as consistent a goalie as they do.

Yeah but Esche also wasn't awful. At times the Panthers just for too much room to skate. They let Hagman skate around in front of the net with 3 guys around him. I'm not Esche's biggest fan but sometimes he has no chance

Just saw that part in highlights, that sequence belongs in a future DVD "Best of Foppa". First demolishing two guys, and then setting up a goal.

Boy did he look pissed when the ref made his blooper.

Dave Straider said it himself....it was blown dead because of the whistle. The ref can stop play if he meant to blow the whistle, regardless of how bad of a call it was. That's not something you can review.

Now what was Coates wearing, i didn't see it

JFF- On TV and they replayed that shot, it looked somewhat routine to be honest. The timing was huge the save was average.
I applaud you for defending his play thus far, and truth be told I liked his play last year and if he can get back to that level I would be very happy.

From all reports, Primeau and Desjardins are both improving. Desjardins should return late next week.

Primeau likely a few weeks further away, but should return in early December.
