I think I'd rather try 81 in between them.

Played a decent game, a little loose defensively definitely tho. Two more breakaways against. YIKES. Its almost par for the course for this team.

Cole has been Montreals best player of late. Another strong show. So nice to finally have two players with the size and ability of Cole and Pacioretty.

Diaz really really struggled in my opinion. Just getting manhandled in the defensive zone. Its a fire drill almost everytime he is on the ice.

Hope for health now.

I know it's easy to say now but I wasn't overly worried. I was watching the game with the old man and told him he'd be back in the second. Just didn't have that look on his face of being seriously injured. But yes, that would have been a disaster.

That line would be sick. Big, strong skilled could actually cycle the puck without a black hole who turns it over every time anyone goes near him. I also think 46 81 67 would be dynamite.

Subban was +3 tonight, +2 on 5 on 5. This brings his normal +/- to -1 on the year.

By the better measurement of 5 on 5 plus minus, he's at +3 on the year.

When is Subban going to learn? What a terrible game. Almost cost us the game. Seriously, call up St-Denis.
Kidding. He was awesome.

Both he and Plekanec deserved assists for plays they essentially set up but the Coyotes had a stick on briefly before it came to the scorer.

Eller had a tough game imo, but made up for it in the end.

Desharnais really needs to improve his take off speed. He's okay once he's in full stride, but he loses foot races to loose pucks that are near him and it doesn't help that he's small. He's also way too predictable.

Subban's defensive game is so underrated. He makes the occasional gaffe, but man is he ever a rock back there.

I thought Palushaj looked good...not surprisingly that this happens when he gets put in an offensive role, he doesn't even look out of place, Kudos to him, I still think he'll be a good top 9 forward.

Gionta was golden tonight.

Yep, he's playing quite well lately. Also, now that they're getting used to each other, I really like the Gorges-Subban pairing. I really hope they keep them together even once Markov is back. Just not totally sure who Markov's RH partner will be to begin with. Maybe Weber?

It probably wont last but Josh Gorges is Montreal leading scorer by defensman. Considering he gets ZERO PP time, its quite a feat.

We won, barely. What was DD doing behind the Phoenix net in a fetal position? We really need to get rid of him and Gomer and get a big 2/3rd line center.

I'm going into work tomorrow, proudly wearing my Gorges t-shirt.

Moen has been an unsung hero so far this year. He's actually looking like a power forward out there lol.

Apparently he practised his shots and stick handling all summer and lost a bit of weight. It shows.

I thought he was better than last game. His faceoffs have improved so much, I think it was just a bad start.
