Quite excited to see what Gomez can bring with capable wingers.

Moen is obviously last years Darche! Really pleased with his production and game so far.

The problem we have with Darche is that we liked him when he a) wasn't showed down our throats and playing PP b) we didn't expect anything from him.

In the last minute of regulation a Coyote forward came down the left side past Palushaj, past Diaz. I though the Habs were going to go home without even one point but the Coyotes didn't score. Palushaj and Diaz together looked like helpless naked babies. Don't the Habs have someone besides Palushaj to bring up when Kostitsyn is injured? I just don't see Aaron as an NHL regular. Coming back to Diaz: He has a lot to learn about defending.

Gorges: +7
Subban: +3
Weber: +1
Spacek: +1
Diaz: 0
Emelin: -2
Gill: -5
Very interesting, thanks. And not surprisingly, that's kind of how I'd rank their play this year.

4 forwards out with injuries means that Palushaj is the best your going to get at this point. Both of those guys should be leaders in Hamilton right now instead of with the big club.

Much as Gorges has been fantastic, Subban is far and away the best D-man on this club.

So does Palushaj. They are the Habs' twin weak sisters. When you throw in Diaz and Weber you see that the Habs aren't going to win any bodybuilding contests. People should learn to appreciate Kostitsyn.

Oh, I agree. I just meant that's how I'd rank their play so far this year. Subban's had a couple of rough spots early on. But there's no question which one I would take if I could only have one of them for a season.

I'm surprised that Subban is +3. He's been a chowderhead in some games this season. I guess the explanaton is that some of his mistakes resulted in his drawing the penalty.

yeah, he will until he Davies a few points and reminds them that Gomez is the other option.

I'd like to see DD take the faceoffs on the Eller line and then okay wing.

Subban controls the game like nobody else in the lineup. He's just made some high profile mistakes that lead to goals against which has caused the bad things he's done to standout over the good. He's also taking less offensive risks this season and hasn't gotten the powerplay production so there hasn't been the countervailing good impression from noticable offensive plays.

if we had a center who could be trusted to anchor an efficient 3rd line, I would LOVE to see Eller center Cole and Kostitsyn on the 2nd line.

I didnt feel like watching the game the today, so I didnt. I've never felt to disengaged from the habs.

Kudos for the win, though. Its never an easy task to get any points out of the yotes when you give them a 1-0 lead. I know that nobody really talks about the yotes but they can be a very stingy team if you let them get ahead.

Just got back from the game. Here are some thoughts:

-the city of Glendale is beautiful. Easy to see why alot of canadians come down here for the winter. All the buildings look new. The front desk clerk at the hotel I'm staying at said its all been built in the last 15 years.

- The area around jobing.com arena is really buzzing. They have awesome nightlife (shops, bars, restaurants) right outside the arena. It was fun watching all the habs fans hi-fiving each other and taking drinks in celebration of the win

- I pains me to say that most of the coyote fans don't look really enthusiastic about their team. When they scored not many people got up to cheer and the building doesn't get very loud. I kinda feel bad that they might lose their team now cuz the city of Glendale could really benefit from a strong hockey fan base. The area around the arena is so nice that it would be a shame to see it lose it's main attraction. I was talking to a sales clerk in the coyotes store and she said it only gets busy when Canadian teams come to town.

- on a positive note..the boys played a great game tonight considering how many guys are out! Can't wait for them to come down to LA in two weeks. I won't have to drive 6 hours to see them lol

Refs steal a point for coyotes, quick whistle blocks a goal.

Desharnais is a spare part on this team, I really don't want to see him any more.

vCash: 500 I seriously hate score predictions, but the Habs will win a low scoring game in OT. Not shootout.
