Sounds stupid but I thought they played good. Great effort from top to bottom that was done in by a couple silly penalties. How do you recover from a major and a 5 on 3?

We finally score with our goalie pulled and in the end it means nothing. Why don't we ever come back?

Am I the only one tired watching teams come back when down night after night and then watch the Kings go down by a couple and stay down?

It's the passive style they play to start games. It allows the other team to carry the play and the Kings end up taking penalties. Lewis' penalty was unfortunate, but Doughty's was just stupid. The ref had to call it after the 4th cross check.

If the Kings show the same puck pursuit to start the game as they do when they are behind, they wouldn't fall behind and take as many penalties. Both teams had plenty of chances on the PP tonight.

oh and its typical that they score their first goal in over 2 years with the goalie pulled in a situation where it doesnt matter

Agreed. Ever since that playoff series he's lost his cool every game against the Nucks.

Quick is showing a lot of emotion this season. He looks frustrated, that there are a bunch of talented players on his team, and they still can't score. I just hope he doesn't give up.

We won 2 out of 3 periods.

Unfortunately, we beat ourselves in the 1st with penalties.

Now I understand why canucks fans are so annoying when listening to their announcers. Everything is a missed call against them and everything called against them is questionable in their eyes. Quick got slapped with an elbow and they said he sold it so the ref could see the contact...are you ****ing kidding me??? No wonder their fans are that way they are brainwashed by those homers. ...deep breath..they are worse than Hayward. No kidding.

visiting Canucks fans here in the GDT have been ..alright.

Quick has way too much Heart and Moxy to just give up. Seriously think about that. J Quick quitting on the LA Kings......

The only thing that we know right now is the "crap the bed early" part. For all we know, that can continue all the way to the end and kick us out of contention.

On the Quick front, the D really bailed him out tonight. His rebound control was way off, tons of em right to the slot.

Teams do tend to relax with a 3-0 lead after one. Just human nature.

Colorado came back from down 3-0 and won in OT tonight. Didn't take them 59 minutes to get goal number 2.

Still 13 out of 16 games with less than 3 regulation goals. 3 goals is the key to most NHL games now. The average number of goals per game is below 5.5 right now.

True, but Kopitar is leading our offense. Kopi then Rick imo.

Fair call-out of Doughty.

Matt Greene - 'need to look at better decision making' when team goes 3 on 5.

Just out of curiosity, how many teams actually average 3 goals per game or better?

It's payback for Lombardi bring back the fossil to coach post-lockout.

4 points out of the last 14. Ouch.

Kings were 2-6 last year with an 8 game home stand. Now they have a bunch of games in California and don't have a good start.

John Garrett is a huge homer towards the Canucks, hard to listen too.

The 10th place offense is 2.93 right now with 8 teams at least at 3.00.

Since the lockout, no team has won the cup with an offense below 8th.

Guys like Richards think, "I'm going to do everything I can to be better the next time I come to the rink."
