Then he checks his bank account, wakes up on the beach and doesn't have to deal with the Philly media. I'm sure he will survive.

New Jersey thought it was just a little losing streak to start the season. Didn't work out so well for them.

Coach is not responsible for penalties taken by his players but he is responsible for making them stop it...how? That is what he is there for among other things.

Do you have the top 10 teams handy?

If he had that kind of mentality, he wouldn't be the great player he is.

Trust me...the next game you have...you will prefer your crew... The Ucks crew is the worst in the league...even worse than their D (which is silent in most cases)...

visiting Canucks fans here in the GDT have been ..alright.
Their announcers are one of the worst in the NHL. I had to mute it at one point.

Murray questioned the 5-on-3 penalty calls... kinda curious. Not sure about the elbow...but for God's sake what was Doughty doing? $7M for a player who can't keep his cool...nice.

Agreed. Ever since that playoff series he's lost his cool every game against the Nucks.
Well then, tell me how he lost his cool in the 2-1 and 4-1 wins the Kings had over the Nucks last season?

Cool, thanks!
Not surprising that top 3 teams are all from the East.
The biggest difference with the kings this year from the past years is lack of discipline. We've always been known as a discipline team, but this year, the penalties are either killing our momentum or putting us in a deep hole like tonight.
We need to improve our 5 on 5 scoring and play with more discipline.

Penner, Stoll, Martinez for Nash and Filatov's old jock.

Steer clear of any long term contracts like Umberger or Vermette since the Kings need that cap space over the summer. Rick Nash is out of the question, so maybe try for a player like Vaclav Prospal who can still setup plays and register points.
He has 11 points in 14 games thus far. If the Kings don't have long term plans for Brad Richardson, it only makes sense to make a one-for-one swap for Prospal.

You think Columbus will ever get rid of Nash? What would we give up? I'd do a Bernier, Voynov, and Brown and maybe a pick? Thoughts.

Doesn't matter until Murray is gone. Nash "floats" just as much as Penner. Nash wouldn't survive in a Murray system. Huge contract too.
Kings will have to grind out 2-1 wins to make playoffs. With the occassional big win to keep the masses happy.
