NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

Defense first and go play hockey after, you know?
- Artem Anisimov

It seems like everybody’s on the same page and it looks like we have more energy now than a couple of weeks ago.
It’s so much easier to travel and practice when you’re winning games.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I really feel we played pretty well defensively even though Ottawa had 30+ shots. A lot of those were from the outside and Hank made some key saves at key times.
- John Tortorella

Missing the game because of work so I'll be relying on the GDT and NHL.com from my phone for updates. Here's to hoping I get to catch a happy Rangers in 60 when I get home.

LGR!

Heard Jokinen could be back for this game on the Versus broadcast the other night...would be fitting.

Anyway, make it 6, fellas. Last home game for a bit, make it count.

maybe gaborik's line should get 20 minutes ES + PP time ( proportional to how good they look compared to the rest)

Never like a team on a winning streak going up against a team on a losing streak. Bookies make so much money off of these. But with that said, I predict another win. 4 - 2 Rangers

I'm going with 6-1 Rangers. Gaborik (2), Anisimov, Richards, Del Zotto, Fedotenko.

2 Points up for grabs... preferably with an offensive explosion and strong defense, but if they scratch and claw their way to 2 points, it'll make me happy too! Dubi to break out tonight!!!!

LETS GO RANGERS!

Carolina's got 50 GA compared to our 31 GA. Hopefully the "GAS" line keeps it going. I think dubinsky gets his first tonight because I think Carolina puts more of an emphasis on the GAS line which can open up more for the Richards line.

Obviously this team is on a winning streak. But judging by Henrik's quote above, it just seems like the team is feeling that groove there in....they're playing with some swagger.

The only way we lose is if Cam Ward stands on his head

I'll miss this because my class is going to see Memphis the musical.

We better win. It's not like the Canes are that great. Just apply some pressure and keep their players from diving.

Don't hurt Skinner.

After watching all of the Anisimov interviews, watching him play this season, and now reading his quote I'm developing a mancruch for the guy

Like I said in the other GDT...

All of that Stargate Atlantis has elevated Artie's game to a whole new level.

We limit Skinner the whole game, we'll be fine. I got Eric Staal on my fantasy team by accident, and benched him after two weeks, so I'm not worried about him. Just hope we go out for the victory and not for blood, don't play stupid.

Sorry guys, I am back from South America, and the Rangers were undefeated while I was out of the country. So we're probably *******.

At the game, so I won't be part of the GDT (except now)

Gaborik's brother () invited my dad and me to "The Green Room"
Any of you have any idea what that is. Apparently it's some sort of buffet. I'm guessing it's like where the media eats
