Not caring about winning is pretty damning but I guess just think he's the same player all year long. Pure skill but soft as butter and no character or desire whatsoever. I'd see how the tight checking of the playoffs would cause him a lot of problems but his playoff numbers themselves aren't that awful in this context.
He really is the next Kovalev, isn't he?

Kovalev wasn't soft and was pretty good in the playoff. He wasn't a hitter or a fighter but he wasn't intimidated at all by physical play and traffic.Kovalev also responded very well to pressure.I've watch about 400-500 games of him so he's one of the player I know the most and while I agree he was a prima donna and probably underacheived but I think some parts of his reputation is completely wrong but so implanted that even knowledgable guys like you are not aware of what he really was.

No, I get all that about Kovalev too, and I have some level of begrudging respect for him. I guess you could say that I don't think Semin is as bad as people say either.

TODAY, send your Ambrose O'Brien division first round votes to Dave G. Indicate which team wins in how many games. Include the three stars.

And the winner, in OT of Game 7, is the Garnish Pride

3 stars of the series:

1 - Christian Bordeleau
2 - Greg Gilbert
3 - Richard Brodeur

HMs: Alexander Semin, Keith Brown, Dan Quinn

4 other players received at least one vote.

good game Tony , you deserved it more than me.

I said I was going to participate in the AA draft but I think this AAA draft was my last as a rookie GM.My 3 teams failed and I need a break until the next ATD.I heavily participated in this community since january and I plan on doing the same once the ATD 2012 starts.Franckly , I'm exhausted ATD-wise and since the ATD is the big thing I don't want to enter it burned out.

I will continue to vote in this thing and good luck to the rest of the teams.

On the subject of the AA draft are we still having one? This draft will probably not be over until early December. We would be pushing up close to Christmas before we get an AA draft done. I'll enter it if we have 1 but was wondering what the plans where.

that's too bad, Reen, my participation in the AA is really dependent on there being enough GMs to make the draft worth joining... 4 isn't gonna cut it. Since you represent likely 10-20% of possible GMs other than myself, you are a big loss.
