To all my fellow posters who have served, or have had family or friends serve, I'd like to extend a "Thank You" for helping (key word) give all Americans a life most of us tend to take for granted.
And a special "Thank You" to the veterans of the Vietnam War, who never had it as good as WW2 vets or OIF/OEF vets. America basically turned its back to them, and they didnt deserve it. Thankfully, their sacrifice has not gone unnoticed, and even though they are getting older, we can still appreciate them, and thank them for enduring what really was a hellish time in history.
The couple of days every year dedicated to our veterans isn't nearly enough to properly thank them for their service and sacrifices. We should all be thankful every day for the freedom they fought and died for.
Thanks for the oil boys, great to see the troops get rewarded with a USA hockey mag cover spot too. I know many former soldier hockey players who are autonomous individuals with great physical and psychical capabilities. Bout to drive the suburban to MSG tonight can't miss Skinner that kid's gonna be great, but let's go America!!! Oh yeah, where should I park?
