I think it will be more beneficial to him with it being on the road as well.

Agreed. I think it will help him to get away from FNC where he hasn't been that great (meanwhile, he hasn't had a bad game away from the FNC).

Plus, with the Sabres playing 388234974897 back to backs this year, I love the idea of splitting them: give Enroth one and Miller the other. It's a good way to get Enroth plenty of action and keep Miller rested.

Love that the whole Sens GDT is an argument of whether people are justified skipping watching the game to play Skyrim. On a serious note, I feel good about this, 4-2 Sabres.

I don't mind the Enroth start. I kind of wanted to see Miller because he played really well late last game after the early issues. That said, I get it. Let's win both games and lead the division.

Remember when the Sabres just couldn’t beat the Ottawa Senators. That finally turned around the final time they met in 2009 and now Buffalo is 7-1-0 in its last eight vs the Sens. Lindy Ruff is at a loss for why things like that happen, “That’s a hard question to answer, it’s the same question we tried to answer when we couldn’t beat them. Sometimes there’s a little luck involved, sometimes you get rolling pretty good against a team, they rolled pretty good against us and we’re getting our fair share now.”

So what's up with Lindy Ruff going back to Jhonas Enroth over Ryan Miller tonight? Could you have ever imagined Miller NOT getting a start in a game after two days in a row off in recent years? No way.

But the proof is in the numbers and Ruff has to be playing his hunches here.

Enroth, remember, just beat the Senators last week in a shootout. And there's this: Miller is 13-15-2 vs. Ottawa in his career and 20-5-7 vs. Boston, where the Sabres play Saturday night. Ruff said today he's going back to his schedule, and that means neither guy is going to play both games in this back-to-back. So that makes it easier to see why Miller is going tomorrow, with Enroth playing tonight against Ottawa (the Sens are starting Craig Anderson).

And I think that's going to hold even if Enroth pitches a shutout tonight. It will then be interesting to see what Ruff does Monday in Montreal, where Enroth really started his career with a brilliant shootout win last February but Miller was sensational with a 40-save victory on Oct. 15.

Miller is 20-8-5 with a 2.29 GAA against the Habs in his career but he's just 8-9-4 against New Jersey, which comes to town Wednesday. Enroth has won his only start against both teams. Maybe it's Miller in Montreal and Enroth against the Devils but Miller certainly needs to have a good night in Boston; his goals-against average in the last five games is 4.10!

My best friend wants this game. I'm afraid I'll never see him again if he gets it now.

Not to steal REP's thunder or SN's but I feel good coming from the Haikus so I'll add:

Sabres versus Sens
Northeast division rivals
Good guys end on top

Haha I'm in the same spot. I was planning on getting it in a couple weeks or waiting until the semester is over. My dad wants me to buy it for him for Christmas but knowing him, once he hears all the good reviews there's no way he's going to be able to wait that long

I can't wait to see those beautiful camouflage jerseys they are wearing during warm-ups!!!

I don't understand why teams continue to design these awful things.
It's like they want to torture fans who feel like they have to buy them because the proceeds go to charity.

I know North Carolina is doing it for their Basketball Game ...... They're playing on the Flight Deck of Aircraft Carrier tonight.
