Gaborik had an outstanding game even without a goal. All and all a great game for the Rangers with the exception of the last 3 minutes of the 2nd.

This. I like Cam Ward as a player too, but that was complete ******** that he was able to chop at Boyle like that.

Great 3rd period, very happy to see Dubi finally get a goal. That pass by Richards to set up Girardi was absolutely amazing.

Avery should get the Broadway hat, IMO. He played a great all-around game.

Haha I forgot about that. People can hate on Avery all they want as a player, fact is our record for the past few years is better WITH Avery than without him

I love how we have different players being productive for different games - not just one line.

In no particular order...Avery, Dubinsky and Girardi.

Thrilled to see Dubi break the ice.

To contradict a thread on this board...this is good team. They're still not operating at their best, but, they continue to get better. Good to see them put up five goals without Gabs, Step or AA on the scoresheet...shows the depth of scoring this team potentially has. I stiil want to see Richards back between Dubi and Cally.

One other point...Dan Girardi is a player who has completely exceeded all expectations I have ever had for him. He is playing like a legitimate top pairing D-man this year.

Man, I love this team this year. Even when we start losing some games I feel like I'll still be able to say that the Rangers played pretty well.

Our defense has no business being this good with such young players logging so many minutes.

Our offense seems waaaay more intelligent than last year. Richards is so smart, Stepan has evolved into a natural playmaker, Gaborik is invested 110% this year. And McD, Girardi and Del Zotto are doing a great job of getting involved in the play in the offensive zone.

Let's see how they close out November considering that the last three games are Washington, Philly and Pittsburgh.

I really feel like this is a game we drop last year. I feel like we've matured as a team and went in with the right mentality in the third. This win showed alot of whats on the inside it was nice to see.

I liked what I saw with Dubi-Boyler-Cally. Boyle still needs to get things going for himself but he was solid on the draws. Would like to see him stronger on the puck though and in general just skating better. Wonder if its' time to get MZA up to play with Avery & Richards. His skill seems like it would complement Richards play quite well. Although that would probably mean Fedotenko-EC-Prust on the 4th and Deveaux is quietly doing fine on the 4th. I guess getting Richards going would be a bigger boost.

How is the hat wearer determined?

Current hat-owner decides.

I love that Dubi finally broke his slump. Avery showing why he shouldn't have ever been sent down and Richards being sooooo steadily fantastic for this team.

But Girardi, omg, This guy gets better the more he's relied on, I LOVE that.

What an amazing 3rd period.

After the Richards icing and Canes goal, we lost momentum. But Hank held strong and we closed out that period tied up. Once we got our 2nd goal in the 3rd period we just poured it on. Great effort tonight, loved it.

Girardi
Avery
Stepan

Duby did have a big 3rd, earning the hat, but I had to give my 3rd star to Stepan. Even tho he didn't get on the score sheet, I thought Stepan had an amazing game once again, creating many scoring chances and playing well in his own zone. This kid is impressive, he deserved my 3rd star.

Girardi had been perhaps our best player this season.
