Eller is much more versatile than Desharnais and while I agree it sucks and that I wish Eller can take his place, I just think JM trusts that Eller can be successful by himself. No matter what linemates he has Eller's lines are almost always among the best night in and night out.

It's only a matter of time before Desharnais is replaced by Eller imo. If Desharnais continues to struggle as he has, don't expect him to stay there. Martin is giving Desharnais all the chances to prove that it is his spot so that if he takes him out because he just cant cut, no one will say that he wasn't given a chance.

That's the only way I can rationalize it.
This is pretty much the way i see it (and have been saying, lol). Still, as others have said, why Gomez is not alongside Eller instead of being on the 4th line is hard to make sense of. i guess we'll just have to see tomorrow..

All these gyrations still mean one thing - he is a weak link. Trying to think of another player that went through our roster in the past in a similar situation to this one...

we all know that Blunden will be lucky to take 5 shifts all game, so odds are likely that Gomez gets more icetime than a 4th line winger normally would.

When is the last time the Habs beat the Preds? Recent memory suggests that they have our number.

According to the 3rd paragraph of this article he is out with a groin injury. No idea how reliable this writer/site is but this is the first time I've heard someone pinpoint AKs injury as opposed to calling it a lower body injury. No mention of the severity of the injury.

2010-2011: 3-0 Preds
2009-2010: 2-0 Preds
2008-2009: 3-2 Habs

Time to give them another beating

That 2-0 loss was one of Carey Price's best games of his entire career.

Because he's technically sound and when your technically sound, you never result to a pad stack.

Word.

Tim Thomas looks good on the highlight reel, but in reality, he's out of position a lot of the times. That's how he gets scored on. But on the odd time that he manages to stop the puck, he's got a highlight reel play.

Brotherly love.

Je viens de demander à Sergei Kostitsyn s'il est déçu qu'Andrei ne joue pas ce soir. Sa réponse: "Je m'en fous complètement de mon frère."

Asked if he was disappointed that his brother wasn't playing, SK said he didn't give a total damn about his brother. Nice.

The Preds are the NJ Devils west when they play the Habs.. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see a 3rd consecutive shutout for the Preds tonight against the Habs mediocre offense.

I would assume he said it in a joking manner.

First time I am not watching a game, not interested at all, can't stand Martin anymore. Although I would like to see SK74 score a hatty on Budaj.

Good luck, **** Martin!

Yeah sure sounds like it. Getting fed up with the bashing around here. You're giving up before the game starts. I thought I was on a Montreal Canadiens message board.

Go Habs!

With an outlook like that I'd say you have no right to call them "your" Habs.

Go Habs!
With JM as a coach they won't make the playoffs, the sooner the dinosaur goes, the more chance we have to save this season. Also no AK, no Price, no Cammy, plus Gomez back, Budaj, not so pretty if you ask me.

Do I need to ask permission from you to call them my habs? If yes let me know your contact information so I can make my demands. Should I send a statutory declaration or a notarized one. What works for you sir?
