Is there going to be any pre-game festivities? (i.e. plaza party)
Yes starting around 3:30 there are some activities going on. We are heading down to Baileys at 3:30 You won't miss me I will have on my barberpole HABS jersey on.
Does anyone have an extra ticket to the game tonight? Looking for a single ticket, cheap as possible.. will be able to meet downtown anytime before the game. let me know!!
Go Preds, it's awesome to see how far we've made it since '98. I moved here around '00 and got reacquainted with the sport, and I haven't stopped loving it since.
Just wanted to congratulate you guys on the team's big anniversary. It's an honour for my Habs to be playing at your arena for the occasion. Really excited to see Rinne, Weber and the rest of your talented team in action.

Best of luck to a great fanbase.
That's really nice. Thank you!
Preds, don't let all the hoopla get in the way of FOCUS. Come out hard, work the corners, swarm the net, be disciplined--all those things people mention when you pull out a victory. And, for the record, I'd prefer not to hear that you "were resilient" but instead you were "dominant". Go Preds, make this memorable game a good one for the memory bank.
In the past, the PREDS have blamed "family errands" wearing them out for the first game off road trips. This team is sooooo young, that hardly any "family errands" needed overseen. As mentioned earlier, MAKE TONIGHT EXTRA MEMORABLE NASHVILLE PREDATORS.
Really hard to believe that as a franchise who really had expansion effects on them for 5 or 6 seasons or so that we've won about 53% of our games. Really a reflection of how solid the club has been from top to bottom.
Saw that some "first night" Preds will be at the game. I know Walker is coaching but would have loved to see him-- he was, for me, the guy that really set the tone for what hockey in Nashville was going to be like. Too bad the player rep gig ruined it for him here.
I remember that first year a bunch of us "adopted" a player. I had Patrick Kjellberg and followed him faithfully all year. My wife still loves Sebastien Bordeleau, where ever he is.

Among first-year players, it will be Cliff Ronning as my favorite. First "night" players probably Drake Berehowsky (for obvious reasons) and Greg Johnson.
and PS....check this one out.... Patrick Cote vs Peter Worrell on opening night: Wow how things have changed.
