Potential Nashville - Columbus trade.

If we offered you guys Ryan Ellis (highly touted offensive D-man and future PP quarterback) + Anders Lindback (highly touted future #1 goalie), what would you give us in return. The hint is that we need scoring help up front.

R.J.Umberger, Vermette/ Brassard, for these players. Plus draft picks from both sides

At this point, I may try to move both Vermette and Brass for that package.... Really don't care thats its another trade with a divisional rival.... we are right against the cap now, certainly this move would give us some wiggle room to potentially make a few more moves without having to worry so much about the cap.

Thats right but do you think Preds would take Brassard and Vermette for these players? No. Maximum only one.

Ellis is still too risky to give up RJ for, to me Ellis could possibly be another Kris Rusell.

When we want Lindback we must risk with Ellish. Plus he is small and he was drafted in the first round.

I wouldn't touch Ellis with a 10 foot pole.

Pass.

Other teams should use the threat of a trade to Columbus as motivation for their own players. No actual trade need ever take place. Every player in the league will be skating their a**es off to avoid coming here.

You thought it was tough drawing FAs before?

Keep Ellis, and we could work something out for Lindback like Vermette and one of our young forwards (not Johansen).
