I think we alwys do well in the regular season vs. boston. So we will win by one. I excpect this to be a low scoring game.....

2-1 or 1-0 good guys.....

Feels like a loss tonight. Two hot teams, one rested and playing at home, the other tired and playing on the road.

I'll say the Sabres hang on for OT despite being severely outshot due to a bounce-back Miller performance, and then their tired legs catch up 4v4 and lose.

3-2 BOS in OT.

3 goals is considered a bad game even for the worst of goalies, that would not be a bounce-back performance.

Huh?

A "bad game" is a function of play, which is reflective of shots against, chances against, the defensive play overall, and the goalie himself.

If the Sabres were outshot 41-24, and lost 3-2 in OT, would you say the goalie had a bad game? I certainly wouldn't. That's a .927 SV%

Please...let the Miller haters have their day...they've been waiting patiently for a long time. Facts just muddy the waters..

O so when miller gives up 3 today its ok ? and the excuse will be used that he had a harder matchup than enroth and the team is tired? but then enroth played in B2B and presumably the team was tired then too but he did just fine.

Praying for a relaxed Miller and playing on the road may help with that.

Ryan Miller has been money away from the FNC. I really think getting away from Buffalo could really help settle him down.

how many shots did enroth face yesterday? He only gave up 1 goal and that was on a 5 on 3. I read his post...all it is : MORE EXCUSES. Who cares if he faced 20 shots or 40 shots, if he gives up 3 goals he is not giving his team a good chance to win. SV% means nothing in terms of winning games.

You're arguing for something that hasn't even happened yet?

Really?

This is crap.

If you watched the game last night, you'd know that Ottawa's shot total was misleading. Even Ruff said as much in the postgame, stating the Sens only had a handful of real chances.

In the event Miller gets absolutely peppered tonight and gives up three goals on 40-some shots, and you blame him for the loss ... well, that'll be a "you" problem.

someone said how miller will bounce-back with a 3-2 OT loss, I am trying to figure out how that is bouncing back. Or are people just satisfied if he doesn't get shelled.

Yep, 1-0 loss = Miller sucks, and the team around him played fine

5-4 loss = Miller sucks, but the bruins goaltending was outstanding

You've already been told how it can be a bounce back game, yet you're still arguing. If Miller faces 50 shots and lets 3 in, that's a great game from him and would be a bounce back.

ok sure, what kind of coach has his best offensive weapon( Vanek) average under 18 minutes a game with 8 games under 18 and 5 under 17. Find another star who plays that little minutes.
