Great win. Hiller was outstanding.

Should of been 4-2, worst decision to allow the goal, Sedin clearly kneed Hiller in the head.

So after this game Koivu has more ES points than Getzlaf and Perry

Team wanted Holland to have GWG, that's why they let them come back in 3rd?

DSP has been great the past few games. He wrecked a few guys tonight, two on the same shift even.

And it looks like Vis is indeed playing injured - he's got a banged up finger (according to Eric Stephans, http://www.ocregister.com/sports/vis...cks-first.html). I was going to say that I noticed Vis had one of his fingers taped up when I saw him in the penalty box last night and he took off his gloves. I didn't know if it was an injury though, guess it is.

Hey everyone,

Long time lurker here, but I figured I'd join in the conversation this year. Mainly to vent about this team so far, but hey, maybe things will look up soon. My name is Mitch and I'm a Ducks fan from San Jose, attending SJSU.

Hiller looked good last night, and I love seeing that passion from DSP.

Welcome, Mitch! With your positive outlook and the reality of how the Ducks are playing, then you might end up looking like Getzlaf now due to the many frustrations the team is doing.

You're up 4-0 and then you shell up. The last 10 mins of the game all the Ducks were doing was just standing in the defensive zone. Hazy also noted that the Ducks were not chasing the puck enough to put pressure on the 'Nucks puck handler to regain possession. RC must be thinking that Hiller is an all-star and should be more than capable to preserve a win despite trying to give a helping hand to the Nucks.

Ohhh.. btw... Welcome, Mitch, and hope you add in lots of insights when the Ducks visit HP Pavillion!

Guess I should have phrased it better about Hiller... it's not that he's not acrobatic and I can completely understand with the workload he faces in a game he's probably a bit tired toward the end of the game. I was more referring to when he's down on the ice and the puck is still in the zone he seems like he's contemplating the meaning of life and taking his sweet time getting back up when he's belly down on the ice instead of worrying about the game. Like I said it may be selective memory and I've just noticed it more this year but I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed it.

I've noticed him doing that since the beginning. It could just be that you're paying more attention to him away from the puck.

A Ducks fan from San Jose? How is it possible?

Welcome aboard!

Duckie's got a crush
Duckie's got a crush

He and Sbisa are down at the 949 rollerhockey rink right now doing one of the Ducks "Speaking Tours". Maybe someone should warn Hiller that he now has a stalker.

Nah, he is so yesterday's news. Hiller was 2-1/2 years ago. Then it was Sexton. Then she threw him in the dirt for Fowler.

No... everyone already thinks I'm crazy. And for the record Sexton is the only one who I thought was "cute" (I like nerdy looking guys that most women wouldn't necessarily consider hot) so don't think I'm puck bunny-esque just going to hockey games to look at cute guys. You know... like the reason Sojourn goes to WNBA games.

I think the reason I've noticed Hiller more is I'm nervous about a relapse from him so I analyze him more.
