HQ pushed a Duck stick, which pushed the puck into the goal. No goal for him since he didn't actually touch the puck.

No worries, he'll just have to do it again.

EDIT: Me type too slow.

There seems to be one under highlights on nhl.com. Can't get it open though. Edit: Nevermind, it's working now.

Damn, didn't get to watch this game, but Smith with a 3pt night!!! 6 shots on net!

*Happy dance*

I'm just going to say it's safe to assume that line had a good night.

Was there much rough stuff tonight? Scrums? Hits? Chirpn? etc..

I just wanted to say that was the Colin Wilson I have been looking for his whole career here. Skill+Power+Strength+Smarts= An unstoppable force. If he keeps his confidence up this could be a great year for him.

Oh yeah, that Smith kid isn't too bad either.

Agreed, it looks like he's found his confidence, and him and Smith look great out there.

HQ, Smith and Wilson. Do we really want to break this up when Leggy gets better?

3 scoring lines? That line is looking real dynamic.

Oh ya, fyi, Smith leads rookie scoring with 14pts. 2 ahead of RNH.

Ok, im loving this youth line we have with Willy Smith and Horny

When Leggy gets back I dont see why you break them up. I know it would never happen but I have always wondered what it would be like to put Legwand on Fishers wing or vice versa.

Here are the lines id throw out there if we kept Wilson-Smith-Hornqvist together

Wilson-Smith-Hornqvist
Erat-Legwand-Halischuk
Kostitsyn-Fisher-Geoffrion
Tootoo-Smithson-Spaling

NHL on the fly pointed out that this is Trotzy's 999th game.
I know the club has it's 1000th game vs. Montreal, but has Trotzy really not missed a game?

Great game, Chad Smith

Now we get a home stand and some rest. Only one game over the next 5 days before a busy end to the month.

Go Preds!!

LOL. Seriously? Watching NHL On The Fly this morning he was Craig Wilson.

Further proof that these people really don't watch our games. They get the Highlights/lowlights and go from there. I understand you can't watch EVERY game but last night was a light night (in number of games on) and we were the LATE game so there wasn't any other viewing competition.
*sigh*

The faceoff numbers weren't particularly great for the game, as a side note.

He did miss a game (way back in I think the 1st or 2nd season). But he was still the head coach of record, he just didn't coach that game. The result still went towards his record.

I say let em keep rolling! It is kinda funny that this line even got put together in the first place since it seems so anti-Trotz...a rookie, a guy who got benched all year during the playoffs whose defensive play Trotz sometimes hates on, and a guy who doesn't always get a ton of minutes. But I'm loving it!

Sad that I missed it last night. Watched the highlights...looked great! And it didn't sound like there were much dirty antics by the Ducks...someone told me Toots drew a penalty in the early going, is that true? If so...

Tootoo went in for a hit on McMillen, but missed. For whatever reason McMillen took offense to it, and decided to crosscheck Tootoo from behind away from the play. It was a high crosscheck, so we have given a rough. It could have been called a cross check, a rough, or interference really. I thought it was funny. I was posted up on the Ducks forum for a little while to kind of keep an eye out for any funny business going on back and forth, and I noticed a couple of the Ducks posters hate Tootoo as much as the players on the ice

Haha. Haters gonna hate. Tootoo's doing his job perfectly. He has officially trolled the entire ducks organization.

It was funny listening to Ducks fans (wearing Perry jerseys) yell at Tootoo and for the refs to watch for dives and dirty plays. We, as a whole, are in everyone's heads that has anything to do with that team and it's awesome.
