Greschner, Duguay, Fotiu are still involved with the organization so they'll probably suit up. Stemkowski is too but he got pretty fat so I don't know if he will.

Hey guys I came across something interesting.. I was searching up some of the photos on the NYRangers twitter...
https://twitter.com/#!/thenyrangers/media/grid

On the 9th photo I notice a different looking jersey. And for some what reason when I go to click on it says "Sorry, we couldn't find that media!" But then again when I go click on other photos it works.. Can it possibly be the winter classic jersey?

What did the jersey look like? Did it resemble any of the fakes?

We just got our tickets for the game. Believe the total was $253 for the pair including shipping and the seats are row 4 or so in section 129. It's behind the dugout where the visiting team would be if it was a baseball game.

For anyone curious, we've had our tickets for 28 years about.

I don't think you'll be able to see the puck. I got mine yesterday. section 415 upper deck $593 total ($289 price was my first choice). 1993 tenure. Funny how prices for the WC are opposite of that for baseball.

I got my third choice had tickets since 1991, but I am in section 141, I had the 189 tickets as my first choice, but didn't get that. followed by the next price up forgot what it was, then I had these I think they are 159 as my th ird choice and I got that. I am by the foul pole so I hope I dont have obstructed seasts or I will be annoyed. Over $ 333 dollars and hotel, gas, food etc, I know being at the game is good, but not if you can't see anything.

Straka is still playing pro hockey as well. As are Malik, Ortmeyer, ect.

Maybe we get Shanny. But I doubt it. We're going to have to reach pre-lockout for a lot of our guys.

In true Jagr fashion, he recently said that he was hurt that he wasn't invited to play in the Alumni game for the Rangers so he decided to come back to play in the NHL game instead.

The Rangers want as many of the 1994 players as possible.

Mike Richter and Glenn Healy in net. Healy will be in Philly for CBC so he might as well play. John Vanbiesbrouck should be given consideration. VBK wasn't on the Cup team but was a huge part of the NYR in the 1980's and early 1990's. VBK could play for the Flyers.

Jeff Beukeboom is an assistant coach with Sudbury. They aren't playing on 12/31. They have a afternoon game on 1/1. Sudbury is also playing on 12/30. Beukeboom could play in the alumni game.

Brian Leetch will be there. Sergei Zubov is coaching in the KHL. Kevin Lowe should be there. Lowe looks to be in good shape. I watch him on Oil Change and he could get out there for a few spins on the ice. Doug Lidster has remained active in hockey after retiring. Is Jay Wells in good shape?

James Patrick is not available. Same situation as VBK. Buffalo is playing on 12/31.

Some of the 1970's Rangers like Brad Park,Rod Gilbert and Jean Ratelle might be too old. Bobby Clarke is playing for the Flyers.

I think they showed it on the NHL Network last year, but not live.

I'd be surprised if MSG doesn't show it, they're usually good with things like this (ie. Traverse City)

Well, I checked with my rep and he wasn't sure why the charged me the $540. He's looking into it this morning... but he says it wasnt for the winter classic and it wasnt my monthly payment.

I see some others have gotten their tix already. I haven't heard from them yet... I've had my tix since 1998.

If you have set up your account to log into it on the NYR Sub Central website, check there. I haven't heard from them yet, but I have a ticket invoice pending. I have had tickets since 1996, so I have a little more tenure but you might have something out there.
